Absolutely AWEFUL service. B/f & I wanted to use our gift cards for a cup of REAL coffee after dining at the nearby La Madelaines. We walked in at 8:30 and the lights were off. My b/f googled the hours, & when he saw they should still be open he tried the door, & it opened so we proceeded in. We noticed a lady leaning down behind the counter. We waited patiently. The lady never greeted us. She never looked up. After greeting her very timidily asking if they were still open...she continued looking down & muttered "I guess, but not really". She asked what we wanted, & I couldn't see the menu & knew I wanted to try something different, so I asked if she could possibly turn on the gallery lighting, because I was unable to decide without seeing the menu. She threw down some kind of metal object & proceeded to the back. When she came back, a young guy who looked a little timid was following behind her. After him witnessing how she was treating us, he "lipspoke" that he was sorry for us. Unfortunately, after all of our patience, the coffee was just ok. She never thanked us. I WILL say this....I have NEVER experienced this type of treatment in a...
Read moreAfter moving to the neighborhood two years ago, I was looking for a regular Starbucks to call home, and I’m so pleased to have found this one! No drive thru means the staff can really focus on the customers in the store, and create that warm and friendly environment you expect at a boutique coffee shop, and not a chain. While they have had a solid staff over the time I’ve been a regular (shout outs to Katie and Calista!) I’m also enamored with the customer service offered by Arge and Sylvie. When I’m grumpy in the morning, these two always seem to make my day just a bit brighter, and that’s before even handing me my coffee! I highly recommend this spot. Some of my favorite baristas, and a great environment. Quiet enough to work a crossword, but cozy enough for a quiet chat as well. I cannot recommend this location enough. Totally worth the busy...
Read moreHorrible service to vendors and early morning customers. I work for a environmental company that services Starbucks. When I arrived at this location the manager or shift leader was very rude as I was trying explain to her the reason why we arrive early before opening is because the service creates a bad smell. But there was a waiting customer there also who heard how she was talking to me. He left to go across the street for his morning cup at another coffee house. I didn’t get her name because I was talking to her back and she scribble srch on the invoice. She’s a tall white women with a foreign accent and a hump in her shoulders. Didn’t Starbucks just have a meeting about how to treat customers? It’s clear she didn’t get...
