This family owned restaurant has attentive service, is welcoming and clean. We've eaten here since it was established, maybe 40 years, and have always left satisfied because it is consistent quality, taste, and service. It usually has a huge fish tank that makes the entrance way and entertains us if the line gets long, but just the chest was there today. Good gathering place for the family and friends any time, except Monday and Tuesday...it is closed! 😪 Traditional variety on the menu including enchiladas, tacos, seafood, tamales and more. Every time we drove by this place my wife and I made the comments de should go there some day. Looked up the reviews and they were real good. This has to be the biggest disappointment ever as far as restaurants. Took my wife and 3 kids. The place is very old and smells bad. The food is very low quality. The service is even worse. Ordered fajitas and the tortillas were cold and would break into pieces when you folded them. Sometimes you have try places to find out for yourself. Very unfortunate. The first red flag should’ve been the only 3 people in there on a Sunday right after church. I would go as far as saying this is the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Definitely not a...

I expected from the reviews I had read and the high price this place was going to be extra special. Instead I found the food to be mediocre. I had the cheese enchilada with the soft cheese taco. The rice was the best part, the refried beans were too soupy, the cheese in the enchilada and in the soft cheese taco was processed cheese and the chili con carne was not very flavorful. Also the hot sauce was not that good and very thin in consistency. The atmosphere was drab and dated but the service was pretty good and the wait staff friendly. It certainly did not rank a 5...
