Taqueria Charly — Restaurant in Dallas

This one of my top trompo taco spots in DFW and Ive had 5 years of exploring taco spots while working the meteoplex area .They get everything right ALWAYS and extremely consistent on quality. I normally get tacos de trompo because theyre just that damn good but today I was extra hungry so decided to get the torta Cubana and boyyyy that thing was GOOD. Milanesa, ham, trompo, cheese, avocado and the rest of the usual dressings. Top notch torta. As usual the hot sauce is good (the green is my go-to), and never too hot but you always get that chile toreado on the side that will provide that extra kick you may want and you WILL get that kick... Youve been warned. Im from Fort Worth but work in the area regularly so I always stop by when I get a chance. Place can get a little tight and crowded but the customer service is always great and friendly. Stop by if you have the chance and you will have a clean and clear go-to taco spot from then on .

They gave my order to the wrong person and gave my husband the wrong order. He had taken the time out of his lunch to bring me and a coworker food, when we opened the food my husband had left back to work so my coworker went and got food elsewhere. My husband tried to pass by and get the refund which the lady said she would do and then she changed and said that they wanted the food back instead. So no we did not eat the food and then wanted me or my husband to take the time again to take the food back to get the refund so to take more time out of our day to fixed what they messed up we have been going to this place for years even before they changed to this location. And then the manager said he was trying to fix things so that he wanted me to take the food back so now after work instead of picking up my kids first I will be taking the food back to get my refund.. just wow at this customer service this is ridiculous they want people to take the time out of the day to fix...

Absolutely the BEST Trompo (Al Pastor) tacos around! Any time we have a get together, we grab 50-100 of them on flour and they just disappear... I love it when they stack them up in the to-go box and they just absorb all of the flavor from their surroundings tacos... Top with red and green salsa and your choice of lime, cilantro and onion, and grilled jalapeños and DEVOUR them!!!

When we get them on corn, we usually ask for one tortilla per taco intead of the standard two... Just my personal preference.
