It's a good place, but the last time I ate here just may have been the last time. I recommend and brought several ppl from my job here since they weren't really known to those in my environment. The last time I ate here I came back to work to eat and the Ceviche smelled bad - Latinos know when fish is expired. They have a no refund policy and they say you better check your food before you leave the store. I called and they said they'll replace it only because they know who I am and I was a regular, but when I asked for the processed date of the fish I was disappointed that they allowed it to sit for 4 days. Raw fish is only good between 1 to 3 days depending on the variables of the time it sits out of the fridge to how long it's fridge and how cold the fridge is. This is the best taco joint in east Dallas. Hands down.the women there are always friendly and cook the order immediately. The food is fresh seasoned perfect, tender and piled high. You get more food for the price with quality and and price than anywhere in lakewood /east Dallas . It’s small and you don’t need to call in, it has a small dinning room but everyone comes in gets it to go because it is fast and people usually come here for the lack of waiting for service for great fresh food. Don’t let it fool you, it’s not fancy, a chain, gentrified, and you might pass it by if you weren’t local or looking for it. Love this place. The food is pretty good and at a great price. The food here feels more homemade an authentic. Been here several times and have shown it to a few friends. The place next door is apart of it has also has a great selection of dessert items and agua frescas. Super friendly people and noce service as well. The prices here are also again very great. Get the watermelon agua fresca.....
