Tacos Beto — Restaurant in Dalton

My family and I were looking for a decent place to have lunch at. After looking at the reviews, we decided on this place. We walked in and saw that we were to sit ourselves down; it was a very short wait time to get served. Looking at the menu, everything seemed well priced. We ordered a pambazo, 7 tacos, 2 gorditas, 1 bottled coke, 1 agua fresca and 3 fountain sodas; at the end, we also decided to order a sopapilla for dessert. I was shocked when I payed—total came out to $97.10!!!I asked for a receipt because I thought the cost was outrageous for the food that had been ordered. I was charged $44.50 for just the 7 tacos; each taco came out to roughly $6.36. I understand the economy isn’t the best and costs are rising. However, we’re used to eating out all the time at restaurants and even fancy restaurants don’t charge this much. I don’t ever do reviews, but I really don’t think the cost was just. The only thing they are good for is tacos , gorditas and burritos . Maybe their tortas ..buy their other items on their menu are not so great ..lack of flavor ..I order camarones al mojo de ajo , gosh they were soupy and had no flavor , this dish is suppose to be grilled not a garlic soup . won't be getting that any more ... It was plain . their service is good and fast . very clean . although ive found hairs in my food . other than that its ok for...

This is one of those out of the way places that only the locals know about. It's delicious and authentic Mexican options like tacos, burritos and other basics. The service is friendly and the food is served quick. Try the carne asada tacos (street tacos) and use the house made red sauce. It's got some heat but the flavor is great. I recommend a cold bottled Coke to go with it, or try their horchata, it's like drinking a liquid...
