This is the best BBQ place I’ve ever had!!!! Everything including the employees are all so great! They will go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy! I love eating here!!! EVERYONE should try their KEY LIME PIE! 😍❤️ It is beyond perfection!!! I promise, their key lime pie is the best key lime pie I’ve ever had! Actually now that I’m thinking about it, I’m going to go get one right now!
BTW… I was there the day the woman who is in the reviews complaining about wearing a mask, and absolutely NO ONE WAS EVER RUDE TO HER WHATSOEVER!!!! Quite the opposite and it wasn’t even the owner who said anything to her. It was another customer who for some reason decided it was his place to tell people what to do. He actually caused 2 different customers to walk out because while the owner and everyone else were busy and not actually at the front at the moment, if someone walked in, this customer took it upon himself to be very rude about mask wearing by telling the people they were required to wear a mask and had to leave if they didn’t. That’s not even true! They are very cautious with covid, yes that’s true, but they would never ask a customer to leave! I don’t know who the customer thought he was to be saying anything to other customers, but once I was able to tell the owner what he was doing he had just walked out, but she told me that she didn’t even know that guy. He was there waiting for a to go order. It upset her very much that she had two different customers leave bc someone took it upon himself to treat them rudely! She felt horrible about the situation! She actually tried to go out and stop one of the couples who had left bc they had just been in and walked out right before I let her know what happened, but she wasn’t able to catch up to them! She felt really bad about that and wanted to apologize to them, but obviously she wasn’t able to. The people who work here and own this place are truly some of the sweetest...
Read moreThe 2 large smokers outside excited me and the inside history on the walls had a heavy impact on the soul of the establishment. Plenty of seating and it was very clean. What caught my ears were the slamming and running of microwaves in the kitchen which I'm fine with cause I can understand the need for some sides being heated. But it was so constant I started to doubt the food being served. I only got meat no sides, I got both pork ribs and beef brisket. I was surprised to see neither had a a great smoke ring which threw me through a loop as there are two large smokers outside. Surely it would still be smokey in flavor, the beef brisket looked off to me and tasted like deli beef. No smokey flavor other than the BBQ sauce heavy on top. Ribs had some bite to them and had some sear but again about as much smoke flavor as if you oven roasted them then reheated in the microwave. Not to mention no smoke ring on the ribs. Were the ribs still good? Yes, I'd expect the quality at a generic restaurant that didn't offer smoked meats. The BBQ sauce was the real star of the food. I made the host aware it was my first time there, for anyone asking and she...
Read moreMy wife and father consider themselves bbq counesours. And they are borderline bbq snobs. My wife's mission in life is to try every independent que place south of the Mason Dixon and a little west of the Mississippi. They both agree that Miller Brothers is the best we've enjoyed on many of our adventures. The year before my father passed away one of his last outings was to Miller Brothers and he told the server in a heavy German accent. "That is the finest bar b que I have ever eaten." We where surprised in 20 years of eating bbq with this man, we never heard such a statement. We still go to Miller Brothers, we go more regularly now because we've grieved and have more time. A lot of times when we sit at the table we sat with my dad I smile andi remember this happy experience with my dad. We are glad Miller Brothers was in our life while he was alive and we are grateful they still are today. We have 2 bbq places locally and 9 more all within a hour drive from us. We live in Ellijay and drive over the mountain to Dalton to go to Miller Brothers. Wonderful people,.Wonderful food and an all around...
