Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Daly City

I grew up in Chicago, the best variety of pizza made in the US. Yes, better than NY. So for us pizza was always ordered from local ma & pa eateries, almost always guaranteed to be better than good. Ordering from a chain is just not done.

I was really amazed, this Domino's made us awesome pizzas. We needed to order a large quantity with variety on a small budget. Someone yelled out "pizza pizza" hands down Little Cesar's was out of the question. :) We finally landed on Domino's, ordered online from the closest location.

I was so surprised and delighted with how delicious it all was. I looked up the restaurant reviews and found they have a pretty low rating on yelp. I thought the greatness we experienced could not have been a one off. Our order was just to large, also with every pizza being create your own, not from the standard menu. This kind of consistency doesn't happen without skill.

Of course we have to share our experience. We got a stack of pizzas, at least 10, several orders of wings and chocolate lava cakes. Enough to feed 16 teenagers and 8 adults. Every single pizza, every one was made to order, not one missing ingredient. Not one appetite was dissatisfied, everyone was thoroughly pleased with they're pizza. I tried as many as I could and loved every bite.

The wings were mostly really delicious and well received. We got at least 2 or 3 of each flavor. The buffalo were voted best and the garlic parmigiana considered the least because the garlic/parm was a wet sauce instead of the typical fried on dry garlic/parm coating. The flavor wasn't as good, I definitely prefer the dry coating. The boneless wings, oxymoron, were delicious. It wasn't a crispy coating, however, the coating had a very nice seasoning, it did not overpower the chicken. Which was so moist and tender. I'm not sure it was all dark meat, they were amazingly tasty though.

The lava cakes were surprisingly good. Granted my first ever taste with such a dessert. I thought they would be way to rich, instead the flavors and textures were well balanced. The cake is extremely moist with a nice mild crisp texture change on the outer rim and the inner chocolate molt was actually delicate on the palate. A very enjoyable treat.

The service was amazing, from placing the order online to talking with the staff and they're patience with changes being made. The order arrived on time and was obviously just freshly made. The driver was an actual Domino's delivery person. He was so polite and courteous, not in an obvious hurry.

Our overall experience with this Domino's location has gotten they're number in our Rolodex. They will be our new go to for our pizza party's. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! Very bad service. I am very angry the manager was very Rude. They sent me a incorrect order and I called back to have my order resent the correct way a hour ago and the manager got an attitude. He tried to tell me that the food which was the incorrect order was good and that I should try it. This made me very upset. The manager told me he did not want to deal with my complaint. I asked to send me the correct order and he refused he wanted me to instead come all the way inside of the store for a pick up. I told him no since they were the ones that made the mistake they need to send me my food the correct way. So I asked for them to give me back my money since he will not give me the correct food. So he said no he only has two drivers and would not send anyone out for just a refund. After this the manger Told me my food was being fixed the right way. This was a HOUR ago and when I called back AGAIN a hour later I asked was my food on its way because it only takes up to an hour for delivery. the manager argued with me again and Refused to send out the correct order and said our address was out of range however it is not I have ordered from this store plenty of times and he had just said that they were sending the correct order to me earlier when we spoke. Now I am sitting here again waiting for my food. If I do not receive my food this time the correct way I will be going to the store this is unacceptable. Ordering online at Domino’s is so easy and budget friendly that we do it quite often. Either delivery or picking it up at their place is very convenient and quick. They show the progress of your order being prepared by the name of the person who is preparing it all the way through till is ready .If you are picking it up , by pressing a button on your phone you let them know you’re going inside to pick it up and you don’t need to wait in the line. If the food is delivered to your place, you either see the delivery car on your phone delivering your pizza, or if the driver does not have GPS INFORMATION, they would let you know where their car is and when it arrives with few text messages. Updating review 02/,01/2023 Wanted to place an order for delivery 2 nights in a row but it seems like Domino’s doesn’t accept PayPal any longer. So i trued using Apple Pay. I tried many times on the app and on the website. Did not work. So both nights I ordered using my favorite method of payment, PayPal ordering delivery zero charge with DOOR DASH FROM DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS
