I recently visited this spot for the first time, and I have to say, the customer service was impressive right from the start. I was warmly greeted upon entering, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There's also plenty of parking available, making it a convenient place to grab a quick breakfast, catch up with friends, or pick up something to go.
I opted for the lox bagel, with a few tweaks: I swapped out the capers for avocado, added some lemon pepper, and chose the gluten-free everything bagel instead. While I’m not sure if it's strictly Celiac-safe due to potential cross-contamination from regular bagels made in the same facility, it's great that they offer gluten-free options like the everything and plain gluten-free bagels. It’s always a good idea to ask if you have dietary concerns.
One thing I really appreciated was how well the gluten-free bagel held up. It didn’t get mushy or fall apart easily, which can be a common issue with gluten-free options. The bagel was generously topped with smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions, and avocado (though keep in mind avocado is an extra charge). The portion was filling, and the flavors were well-balanced.
At almost $20 for the lox bagel, I’d say this place leans toward the pricier side, but given that they make their bagels in-house and everything is fresh, it’s understandable. I also noticed they offer their own cream cheese, which adds a nice touch.
Although I don’t live near the area, I do work nearby, so it’s a great option for a quick and satisfying breakfast pick-me-up. While it might not be an everyday stop due to the price, I’d definitely return to try other items on the menu. All in all, it was a solid experience and I look forward to...
Read moreThis was my first visit to this location. Unfortunately, I don't think I will return to this location (definitely not if I have a limited amount of time) because of the lack of customer service. First, the kid was somewhat taken aback when I asked him for a sample of the tuna salad. He had trouble entering my order because I asked for dry bread. Then I waited for 15 minutes for 1 of the 4 employees behind the counter to make my sandwich (I'm not actually sure what the other 3 were doing). After continuing to wait, a sandwich appeared on the counter. I walked up and asked if it was mine. "Oh yes ma'am" was the reply. Now that my 30 minute lunch was over and I was now late getting back, I open the box to see that it's NOT even my sandwich!! I tried to call the location, but the phone was busy every time I called. I would go back and try to exchange my sandwich, but they close at 2:30 and I work 8-5. Sad to say, this was one of the worst experiences. Aside from returning to lunch with a sandwich that I wouldn't...
Read moreIt used to be a good place, not great just ok. But after previous owners moved, sold or whatever, the service is terrible especially with the new kids in the front. I liked to order a fresh juice and see the prep. Now they give it to you so cold from the fridge. Is it really fresh? How old is the juice? Do they add water just like the donuts business place next to them? The funny part is they sell it to you at the same price. They don't refill their coffee and cream containers, if you buy a coffee and the container is empty you have to ask right? Well they don't like it and they get upset. I think the business is too much for them. Too many bad experiences. The food and service doesn't improve just become worst. I'm not...
