I don't write bad reviews often, and I take this very seriously, but my experience was so bad tonight that I just had to let people know. I drove 30 minutes from NY to have dinner with my children who were craving Thai food. Their website says they are open until 9PM on a Monday night. Their Google My business site says they are open until 9PM on a Monday night. We arrived at 8:20. We were told "Sorry the dining room closes tonight at 8:30, we want to leave early, but you can do take out". (Again, we were there at 8:20 PM) I told the hostess that we just drove all the way from NY, a 30 minute drive to try their restaurant, and when I asked why does it say you serve until 9PM on your website and on your Google My Business Page the woman again replied, "we want to leave early tonight, but you can do take out". There were still other people dining in the restaurant too, that were clearly nowhere near done with their dinner. So, with two hungry children in tow, I ordered takeout. 3 small soups, 1 pad thai, and two drunken noodles. Almost $70. VERY Small portions and "average" at best food, and that's being generous. What a HUGE disappointment on so many levels. Do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant. You can definitely get better food and WAY BETTER customer service at many other places that actually deserve your business. Thai Pepper should actually be ashamed of themselves. If you want to close earlier then change the time on your website and on your Google My Business Page. If you don't want to change the times that YOU LISTED, then at least honor them. Customers make dining decisions based on information that YOU provide. Tonight you ruined the evening for my children and I. We...

The food, to begin we ordered the Golden Sacks. This chicken appetizer was an explosion of flavor in a delicate, crunchy wrapping with a surprising delicious plum sauce. I would definitely recommend this as a started to a fantastic meal. We then ordered the sweat and sour chicken and the peanut sauce with chicken. The sweat and sour chicken was a proper balance of chicken to vegetables cooked to perfection, accompanied by jasmine sticky rice. Picture below. My husband had the chicken with peanut sauce, he described it as definitely for peanut butter lovers. The sauce was creamy and nor over powering. We joined our meal with Thai ice tea and Coconut bubble tea. Both were a spectacular blend of flavors tantalizing our palettes.
The service was welcoming and swift. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for exceptional food with a side...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a customer of 6 years. I wonāt ever be back, beyond embarrassing the owner tried to make of me. I come very often and when I do itās a minimum of 80-100$ā¦. Iāve spent ALOT of money over the last 6 years. Iāve continued to support them with the price increases on all the items on menu. Not anymore. The owner accused me of not tipping the waitress last time we was thereā¦. Maybe she had us confused. I always tip when we dine IN. Not for pick up orders. she WAS our favorite waitress. The owner waited until we finished our food to come to our table and demand a reason why we didnāt tip her. I told her repeatedlyā we always tipā. I left a lot extra money for the accusation. I hope you enjoy the extra money. Your wrongful accusation and greed lost you a 6 year customer. Tip for the owner: pay ur employees a living wage, donāt rely on customers to pay a WAGE. A tip and WAGE are entirely different. Next time donāt accuse, ask. Because...
