I am leaving this review with a mix emotions. First I heard about the place on Uber which I ordered 2 burgers few months back and got the burgers barley cooked. (I asked well done). Few months passed, and I wanted to come in person to give them another chance as I do love authentic places and food. The place is on a farm with horses and goats, which gives you a unique outdoor feel. The kitchen is a food truck with a good amount of wood benches to sit and eat, which so far I was pretty happy. Fair warning if you don't look like one of them you will get all the looks in the world but I care less what others think, the problem start when the guy that run the orders and bringing the food to the table giving you such a bad vibe. Couldn't get 1 tiny smile or accommodating welcome from him, but I came for the food, so I ignored that part, I don't need him as a friend.
Once again I ordered what they messed up few months back , simple as it gets:
2 classic burgers WELL DONE NO PINK , NO PICKLES, side of fries side of coleslaw and 2 cokes.
With high hopes we waited and I must say as it is hard to mess up such an easy order they did messed it up AGAIN.
we got both burgers with EXTRA pickles (none of us like the vinegar taste) and when I told the manager or owner we asked for no pickles I didn't get "I'm sorry" or anything, he took the burger and it came back 2 seconds later which I am pretty sure they just took the pickles out which I could have done myself but the buns and burger still had the vinegar taste, the right thing to do is make 2 new burgers but that to much to ask when a smile is a hard thing to get.
Moving forward upon cutting the burgers in half once again, the burgers were about 60% cooked with many spots fairly raw.
The coleslaw we ordered as a side seems like it was either prepared a day or 2 before but it wasn't fresh at all and tasted weird so we didn't touch it at all.
The potential of the place is really good but with an attitude and failing to take a simple order right, it is a no for us.
If you ok with eating food with 0 changes and just eat however it comes you might be ok there.
Don't expect a smile or kindness unless you are..... I'll leave the rest for the owner to understand what I mean.
Overall the taste of the burgers was not bad but not worth us absorbing the faces and looks or lack of accommodations of a simple order.
I was truly hoping for the place to be better so I can bring my office and more people in the future but that will be...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this excellent Argentine kosher restaurant, and it truly was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at a family barbecue, which says a lot about the warm and welcoming atmosphere they provide.
The atmosphere is calm and very pleasant, perfect for enjoying a meal without rushing. The spaces are spacious and well distributed, allowing you to enjoy your meal comfortably. The service was top-notch: the staff was extremely attentive and professional, always willing to offer recommendations and explain the dishes. I felt right at home, surrounded by the warmth typical of a family barbecue.
The quality of the ingredients is impeccable. The boneless flanken, was perfectly cooked, with spectacular flavor and ideal texture. Additionally, the cuts of meat are top-tier, which is essential for an Argentine grill, and everything is prepared with care while adhering to kosher standards, giving it a unique touch.
Without a doubt, 100% recommended. The combination of Argentine cuisine with kosher traditions is simply perfect. It's an ideal place to enjoy a great barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere, with first-class service and product quality that ensures a...
Read moreUnfortunately, my experience at Lasso Kosher Grill was deeply disappointing. While I had high hopes based on the menu and the promise of kosher offerings, the service left a lot to be desired.
From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. We waited over 20 minutes just to place our order, despite the restaurant being less than half full. No one greeted us properly, and when we finally did get a server’s attention, they were rushed and borderline rude.
After placing our order, it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive — and when it did, some items were missing and others were incorrect. When we tried to point this out, we were met with indifference. No apology, no effort to fix the mistake.
The food, when it finally came, was average at best — definitely not worth the wait or the price. Cleanliness also seemed like an issue; tables weren’t wiped down properly and the restroom was in poor condition.
Overall, the poor service completely overshadowed anything positive about the visit. I wouldn’t recommend Lasso Kosher Grill unless significant improvements are made in both staff training and...
