Response to reply: First, my aunt did call ahead of time and was transparent about the size of our group. While we did decline the pre-fixed dinner option due to the cost, the person on the phone specifically assured us that we were welcome to come and enjoy the bar, despite being a large party. We were told there would be no issue with coming for drinks and celebrating casually.
When we arrived, 15 members of our group were already seated at the bar and being served — far exceeding the “10-person capacity” you’re now referencing. At no point during that time did any staff express concern or indicate we were violating any policy. Everyone was being served without question.
Then suddenly, when the birthday girl herself arrived, she was refused entry. That was not only confusing but incredibly disrespectful. If there were rules in place, they were applied inconsistently and unfairly.
On top of that, the behavior of the staff and management was appalling. Multiple employees, including the manager, were rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic people skills. Rather than offering solutions or communicating professionally, we were spoken to with attitude and condescension. To make matters worse, we witnessed managers openly reprimanding their own staff in front of guests, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
This experience was deeply disappointing and unnecessarily hurtful, especially on what should have been a special night. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the clear issues in how your venue handles communication, professionalism, and basic customer service.
Initial review: I am absolutely disgusted by how this rooftop bar handled what should have been a joyful and memorable evening. We organized a 40th birthday celebration for my cousin with a party of 21 people. Fifteen of us were already inside, seated, ordering food and drinks, and giving this establishment significant business. Everything was going smoothly — until the birthday girl arrived.
At that moment, the staff refused to let her in, citing that the venue was “at capacity.” That’s right — they denied entry to the guest of honor of a party that was actively supporting their business. No warning. No attempt at a solution. No acknowledgment that they were turning away the person this event was for. Just a cold, dismissive “No, she can’t come in.”
They could have communicated better. They could have made accommodations, especially given how many people from our group were already inside. Instead, they chose to embarrass and humiliate her on a milestone birthday, forcing the rest of us to leave and abandon the evening we had planned.
This is not how you treat guests — especially not those who are spending their time and money at your establishment. The complete lack of empathy, foresight, and basic hospitality was appalling.
We will never be back, and I’ll make sure others know exactly how we were treated. If you’re planning a special event or expecting even the slightest level of professionalism,...
Read moreLocated directly across from the Hard Rock Casino, "G7" offers a stunning view of the iconic guitar, setting the stage with its inviting ambiance. However, accessing the hotel through a McDonald's drive-through is an unusual and somewhat inconvenient entrance strategy.
I had a reservation for 8:15 PM and arrived ten minutes early, only to be greeted by a chaotic scene at the entrance, including several rowdy, underage kids blatantly disregarding the restaurant's posted age requirement.
Upon approaching the front desk, we were informed that no tables were available, despite our reservation. The absence of a waiting area compounded our frustration, and when inquired about the possibility of waiting at the bar, we were told it was not an option. The hostess's reluctance to commit to notifying us when a table became available left us in an awkward state of limbo at the entrance. Eventually, we took the initiative to check back, only to find ourselves waiting uncomfortably until we were finally seated.
The service at our table was peculiar at best. For starters, despite ordering bottled distilled water, our glasses were inexplicably topped up with tap water. Our meal began with a mix-up; we received salmon skewers that suspiciously tasted like chicken, a confusion later clarified when we overheard the next table's complaint about missing their chicken skewers.
Throughout the evening, our dining experience was further marred by repeated delivery of incorrect dishes, notably the same raw fish and rice cracker plate we did not order, brought to us three times. Additionally, our waitress seemed unsure of our orders, needing to confirm them twice and even questioning if we would order beyond the two sushi dishes we had initially requested.
Although the food quality was decent, with the sushi being fresh and flavorful, it fell short of being remarkable. Observing the troubles of the adjacent table, who's chicken skewers we received and later complained of a raw and cold steak, only to have their concerns addressed after multiple manager visits, added to the evening's oddities.
The culmination of our meal was marred by the presentation of dirty dessert plates and utensils, a basic oversight that was quickly rectified upon our request for clean ones.
In summary, while "G7" boasts a great location and potential, the overwhelming sense of disorganization and inability to manage its capacity effectively detracted significantly from the overall dining experience. This visit, unfortunately, does not inspire a...
Read moreWe initially had a not very pleasant experience with attempting to book G7 for my birthday with our guests from out of state but the general manager contacted us directly, which we highly appreciated. We ended up coming in with some friends to dine in and he took care of our table very well. We were pleasantly surprised with the level of service provided and the amazing quality of food. I always give credit where it is due and I have to say : the experience was amazing ! We ordered: Drinks: rounds of: don’t recall what our friends got but we selected the ranchwater & the drink with lychee, cherry, and vodka Sushi: G2 roll, G7, and G8 Tapas: beef negimaki, chicken karaage For signatures: beef fried rice, sticky bbq ribs, and a 16 oz ribeye
The meat was so delicious: it just melted in your mouth. I have to say that I was floored by the seasoning of the meats and the rice. I also loved the originality of some of the dishes such as the beef negimaki ( the meat wrapped around the scallion added such a burst of flavor) and the sticky bbq ribs (they were not your average bbq beef ribs and instead had a different added spice which totally blew our minds). To add to this, even though I am not a big sushi fan: I must say that for Kosher sushi- we were thoroughly impressed. The sushi was fresh, tasty, and the presentation was incredible. For a group of 4, the amount of food we ordered was more than enough. We were so full at the end of dinner that we literally couldn’t breathe. There was just no space remaining for dessert unfortunately.
An added bonus to this fantastic time: on Saturday nights motzei Shabbat - there is a pool patio where you can order drinks and jam to music which really adds to the experience, especially if you have some kind of celebration here. The music they play at G7 is also just as original as the food: so many great tunes we never heard of! And….the views of the Hard Rock guitar in the background really add to the ambience and mood. We will definitely be back to book the next special occasion !!! Also PS: Rafi our server was excellent and on point with his...
