Wow. I love finding these local places with amazing food. My visit was completely random and I wasn't even planning on having tacos, but my original destination ended up being closed. I was limited on time so decided to try Pepe's out as it was nearby. Pepe's operates out of a mobile kitchen in the corner of a car repair lot. There isn't a ton of parking but people squeeze in where they can and since this is take-out I don't expect you'll have much trouble finding a spot. I love that their menu calls out some of their dishes and specialties (Birria taco). I don't think enough restaurants spend time on this and just list a name and some of the ingredients. While I've started leaning away from cheesy dishes, the description of the Birria taco was too good so I decided to try it out along with some Horchata to drink. First time trying Birria and they set a really high bar. It was everything I could have hoped for based on the description, and it came with a nice platter with chips, salsa, radishes, and some chopped onions/cilantro. The meat was tender and tasty, and the cheese was just the perfect amount of crispy from the grill. The horchata was also good and rounded out a fantastic meal. I'm not often in this area but look forward to trying out a few more of their dishes. Highly recommend stopping by.

Out of towners here visiting for a class. My buddy found the place and we gave it a chance. I got the chicken quesadilla, street corn, and Carmel churros. The quesadilla was amazing. Overflowing with cheese and it was still hot that the cheese did a beautiful cheese pull when I bit into it. Highly recommend. The corn was not for me but not because of corn but I didn’t like the flavors but don’t let that discourage you. My buddy loved every bite. If you’re into a more tanjin flavor this corn is for you. Now the churros. If you go here for nothing else but the churros then your trip is complete. They were heavenly. The churro was a perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. These bad boys were worth every bite. Also the staff was super friendly. We got out to order in torrential downpour and got soaked. We went back into the car to wait and he brought our order to us. Highly recommend. Happy eating!

UPDATE: 5 stars to 1 stars due to quality going down. The last few times I have ordered for pick up pr uber eats, there is usually an item missing. Today was the last straw, I ordered chicken tacos and I literally received chicken diced up on a tortilla and that's it. No toppings like onion, cilantro, tomato, or cheese like I did the first time I ordered these tacos. I will not be going back as quality has slowly gone down. The amount that we pay for these tacos, the least that you can do is provide quality food. Best tacos in Broward!! The shrimp and birria tacos were so flavorful and delicious. The chips were fresh and salsas were spicy and really elevated the flavor of the tacos. The food reminded me of my moms cooking, so good! The prices are on the higher side, though. That's really the only negative.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review – A Hidden Gem for Authentic Tacos!

If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful, and authentic Mexican street food, Pepper’s Tacos Street is a spot you absolutely have to try. I’ve been to plenty of taco places in South Florida, and this one is easily in my top three — maybe even number one. It’s one of those places you come across once and just keep coming back to.

From the moment you walk up, you get the feeling that this isn’t some cookie-cutter chain. The vibe is relaxed, colorful, and inviting — like you’ve stepped into a piece of Mexico right in the heart of the city. The staff is friendly and passionate about the food, and you can tell they take pride in everything they serve.

Let’s talk about the food: the tacos are absolutely incredible. I tried the al pastor, carne asada, and birria — and every single one was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh ingredients. The tortillas are soft and warm, and the meats are juicy and cooked just right. The birria, especially, was a standout — rich, tender, and served with a consommé that’s full of depth and spice. Add some of their homemade salsas on top, and you’re in taco heaven.

They also have great sides — the elote (Mexican street corn) is fantastic, and the horchata is perfectly sweet and refreshing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting, and portion sizes are generous. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down with friends, you leave full and happy.

Overall, Pepper’s Tacos Street nails it — food, service, and atmosphere. If you’re craving real Mexican street food, skip the chains and come here. This is the real deal. Highly...

I absolutely adore Mexican food, and one of my all-time favorites has to be tacos al pastor with cheese and plenty of pineapple. The smoky red salsa that accompanies it is simply exquisite, adding a perfect touch to every bite. The freshness of the ingredients is always evident, which makes the experience even more delightful.

The young man who cooks there is not only very handsome but also a genuinely nice person. He goes out of his way to accommodate requests, happily providing extra toppings or anything else you might need.

I also have to mention the juices—they're fantastic! I particularly love the guava and Jamaica juices; they are incredibly refreshing. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and I have no regrets whatsoever. Everything is consistently fresh, which is a huge plus.

What makes this place even better is its convenient location and reasonable prices. Compared to many other restaurants, it’s quite affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. They sometimes offer specials and discounts for delivery orders, as well as for regular customers, which is a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone who appreciates great...
