Had a fun time here with my 4 year old for the day before his birthday just me and him doing something together. This location is a very good size, with a larger variety of games than other locations I have been to. My favorite thing is the unlimited play time, by the hour or half-hour. My little one doesn't really understand the concept of earning the tickets and only spending as few tokens as possible, he just wants to run around and swipe the card and have fun. This is by far the best option when it comes to spending a fair amount of money here. Plus I can usually find some type of coupon to use for a small discount!
I would also like to add that I had made a mistake with having 2 cards at the same time. I had inteded to use one for the first hour and one for the second hour, but I lost track of which one was which and somehow we had scanned both cards at some point. This started and used my entire hour of time for each at the same time. So instead of 2 hours, I really only got one hour, and I was bummed š... Luckily though, (I wish I knew his name), I asked one of the employees why all of my time was gone off both of my cards when I had planned to have 2 hours of time. He explained to me all of how that happened, and offered to see if he could help me out. I felt kinda dumb for the mistake but he was very nice and went right to the back to see what he could do. After looking up my cards and seeing I really didn't use one of them more than once or twice, he offered to give me back 50 minutes of time š I am very thankful that there are understanding and helpful people that work at places like this, as this was really for my 4 year old and it was his birthday gift, it was awesome that I didn't have to tell him we ran out of time an hour early! Thank you very much for that!
I would highly recommend this location for those looking for a clean, well taken care of kids place, with great and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently I went with my brother and his gf and 4 yrs old niece on her birthday. I haven't been in years since my kids are now almost 18 and 16. The first thing I noticed was they replaced the iconic characters on stage for a jumbo screen. Seriously come on, besides Chuck E. coming out and making kids cry. Those animatronic characters are iconic (and creepy). I'm sure cost and up keep are a factor but they definitely are capitalizing on this generation of "iPad babies." During the time we sat to eat I was facing the screen and no joke it was 20 mins of cringe Kids Bop songs trying to mask the fact all the songs are ads for Chuck E. Cheese's drop shipped over priced merch or the newest trending toys. Secondly, the food is extremely over priced, 7 small air fried chicken tenders alone came out to $18, cheesy bread and stuffed crust pizza was pretty good however. We all know the recycled pizza conspiracy theory, the truth is that the 18 yr old cutting the pizza just doesn't care about presentation. Third, they have stripped kids of the enjoyment and often times devastating token system. Besides the ridiculous cost for "tokens." The joy of carrying around your tokens in a small cap and forgetting them at the last rigged game has been stripped from these kids for a plastic card you wear around your wrist and tap at each game. Don't get me wrong there are pros to some of these changes, but it's the experience for even myself as a millennial just isn't the same. The cost for the 4 of us ( which entailed food and 250 "tokens") came out to over $400. On a more positive note, I was able to score a lollipop for $25 worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm giving it a 5 star because the staff was really nice. My gripes are not at all with the staff, but how dystopian Chuck E. cheese has become. The store was clean and all the games worked, so that's not an issue at all. Again, the staff was great but the entire brand has just lost anything unique. Most of the games are just emulators and last mere seconds, gone are the days of playing games like Big Bertha, The Jurassic coin toss game and other such games. Now they are all screens, almost felt like I was at a casino.
There is nothing much else to do, because the trampoline zone is locked down like Fort Knox and unless you want to schill out another $15 bucks per kid, the literally lock it up lol This place has potential. I remember it as a kid with The Sky Zone and ball pit to play, on top of the games. Now it's just like a casino with not much else to do physically. The trampoline zone being included in the membership is a real miss because it would absolutely encourage me to upgrade my pass to play more games because I'll be sticking around longer. But honestly my 5-year-old nephews were bored after the 40 game limit so we just left.
Sigh. I'll definitely be back, but it really is so lifeless now...and it has NOTHING to do with the staff....
