My experience was horrible!!! I came for the buffet on my lunch break at 12 expecting to be able to eat lunch. I paid $12 for two slices of pizza! I was very disappointed, there was never more then 1 whole pizza out! The place had customers but more then 6 people left disappointed due to not having food out at a time when this establishment knows people come to eat! The salad bar was empty and dirty! Pastas were dry and barely filled! The whole time I waited never was any dessert pizzas brought out nor regular pizzas for people to eat! This is not a place I would recommend for lunch again! I have worked at a place similar To this for 12 years with a buffet, deliveries, catering orders and regular order going on and NEVER once had customer experience such a horrible lunch experience! Something needs to be done! Telling customers it’s like this because your short staffed is NOT an excuse! If this was the case then your staff shouldn’t have time to be on their phones, eating in the back or standing around!

I’ve been here at least 3 times in the last 6 months, and each time I’m there, it makes me sad. This place used to be SO MUCH fun, but lately it’s just been disappointing. While the pizza is good and kids still have fun in the arcade/play area, it feels like it’s poorly run. I expect the play area to be a breeding ground for germs, but I couldn’t find a single hand sanitizing station that worked… and even the restroom’s foaming soap dispenser was broken. You shouldn’t have to bring your own soap/hand sanitizer to a place like this. And while I expect there to be games that are not working from time to time, but 1/3 to 1/2 of the games my kids want to play have been out of order the last couple times I’ve been here. Even the “top prizes” for kids who get tons of tickets playing games are super cheap (like stuff you’d find at the dollar store). I hope someone can turn this place around and make it into what it once was, but it doesn’t seem to be heading in that direction.

All good things must come to an end and jungle bungle is no exception. Jungle Bungle has been a tradition in our family for years. While the jungle gym part is only a skeleton of what is was back in the day, my kids always enjoyed it. To start off, a google search said that they opened at 8:00. When we arrived all the doors were locked. Upon calling the store we found out that they are open for deliveries at 8 but that the physical store did not open until 11:00. At some point between last year and this year they changed the arcade portion and now all of their games cost at least 1.25 per play and some are even $4.00. There are significant less game options and the cost is just outrageous for a family. We would always order the overpriced pizza and drinks because we were able to make an afternoon of it. Now $40 in the arcade barely lasted 15 minutes. While it is sad to see it go we will be looking for a new activity for the family that is worth our money and time.

I booked the upstairs room for my niece’s birthday party. They moved us downstairs when I specifically asked twice for upstairs. The host, Isabella “Izzy” kept disappearing. I had to go look for her four different times for our order and refills. She went looking for plates for our cake and was gone for 20 mins and was gone for 15 mins for our check, which lead us to go over our 2 hour time slot by a couple minutes. We were charged an additional $25 for the time. She charged us $6 for a pitcher of water that we did not ask for, charged us $50 for 10 kids admissions when we had 3 kids and an infant. When asking her about the pitcher of water, she said well, that’s just how much it costs and rolled her eyes and walked off when I asked to have one of the $6 pitchers removed from our bill for the water and that I would agreed to pay the $25 for going over on our time slot. The manager even agreed that she is not supposed to charge anyone $6 for a pitcher of water.

When we were leaving, she glared at my mom and was talking under her breath on our way out after I had just thanked her. My mom heard her talking about us and my mom asked her what she said. Izzy began to cuss at us and told us “I don’t fing know you! I wasn’t talking to you.” I asked her nicely not to be rude and asked her what we did for her to cuss at us? She responded “Im not being rude. I dont know you! I don’t care. You can gladly go talk to my fing manager. He’s upstairs” I went upstairs and spoke to a kitchen manager, Jeremy. He assured me that he would discuss with Izzy and his GM, Ryan, and call me back on Wednesday, which was three days later. I never got a call. I called and got the assistant manager, James. He was not made aware of the situation. He said he would have the GM call me back the next day when he was in. It’s been a week since the party and I have yet to have my call returned. No one seems to care. I never call back but I didn’t want anyone else being mistreated this way. Izzy seems to have just been trying to add on more to our bill, so her gratuity was higher. We planned on tipping on top of her gratuity per usual. I always book at Happy Joes and have never been treated with such inexcusable behavior. Needless to say, I will not...

By far the best indoor jungle gym for kids. It's a great location for birthday parties, especially for kids with winter birthdays (our oldest was born in December) so outdoor parties are out of the question. I just wish their pizza was a bit cheaper. Typically we only get Happy Joe's pizza when we have a coupon (Note: those tend to expire quick and we don't order pizza that often). Unlike other chains that have rewards that build over time Happy Joe's coupons expire within a few weeks/a month. This location does offer a lunch buffet which is great but the Happy Joe's/Rudy's combination in Coal Valley is on the Illinois side where we live and offers a bit more diversity in food that way. They also have a mini golf course behind which is open during the summer months. The pizza is good but for most pizza I still prefer places like Harris. Happy Joe's does excel when it comes to their breakfast pizza, Happy Joe's special and taco pizza hands down though. Those seem to be consistent across all location I've been to or ordered delivery from. The fact they have early morning breakfast pizza delivery had been a life saver on plenty of lazy weekend mornings for the...
