Unfortunately there is no way to leave a review of their corporate office. That is who I'm reviewing. I have been a customer of Von Maur for over 10 years. I recently placed an order of over $5000 online. I was called the next day to verify that it was me and so I did that over the phone. The next day I receive emails saying that my order was cancelled. I called and asked why and then was transferred to the Fraud Dept's voicemail. When I was called back I was belittled and made to feel like a criminal by the woman on the other end of the phone. I had done nothing wrong but ordered items that I needed. I was accused of being a reseller and that my order went against company policies because I ordered 2 different styles of shoes in multiple sizes. I stated, "If this is for a wedding and I need all the groomsmen to match, wouldn't you think that I would order different sizes?" ...NO response to that. Then I was asked about a Kate Spade gift item that I ordered multiples of. I said, yes, those make great gifts and the price was great. Again, no response. I was cut off while speaking, and the woman was just overall very rude. This was all very new to me as I've never had an order cancelled. No questions were asked....just accusations made. And even when I tried explaining, I was not listened to. At the end of the conversation I said, "Well, I guess I'll just have to order from someone else?? I ordered from y'all because I was getting free shipping"......her response, "Okay have a great day" -click Definitely not how I would treat someone if they were my customer and wanted to spend $5000. Not sure how this company will stay in business when Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus all have superior customer...
   Read moreRecently went in to have an item gift wrapped. Layed the item on the counter and was greeted with a " unfriendly" look. That was when I said " I would like to have this gift wrapped please". She then said, this is not from our store. I said no ma'am. She then said it’s going to be a $15 fee. I said no problem. She was very short when asking me for my information and told me it would be about 10 minutes, 20 minutes later I received a text to come pick it up. The package looked like a child wrapped it. You could see all of the tape, the bow was ridiculous and the paper had no type of uniformity. I can't wrap a present to save my life, which is why I didn't have a problem with paying to have it done. Normally, I have Dillards wrap all my gifts.. They do an amazing job but they only wrap items from their store (wasn't aware of that). Long story short... I can't imagine ANYONE paying for the type of service that I received at VonMaur....

Jake in Fine Jewelry is AWESOME! He helped me get my J Hardy bracelet repaired from the vendor, always kept me updated on the status of my item, calls when something I love goes on sale or if there is a Special Event.
