My son and I went for breakfast a few days ago, I ordered the breakfast special my bacon was so burnt I couldn’t even eat it, my hashbrowns were half cooked. We have been going to this restaurant for a number of years probably 20 something. My son had the fresh toast which had no butter no powdered sugar and barely looked like it was even grilled. His bacon also was crunchy and he asked for it limp. Because my son is a young man I called the waitress over and asked her if she would please take my sons breakfast off the bill as he had only taken one bite of his French toast he picked up the bacon and crumbled and in his hand. He works third shift and all he wanted was some breakfast. So the waitress went and told the owner, the owner came back and told my son that he ate most of the bacon and that she would take one piece of French toast off the bill. I told her that that was not acceptable because he did not touch his breakfast he had one bite of the French toast and didn’t eat one strip of bacon. She proceeded to argue very loudly with my son at which point he told her that we were never be eating there again. How are you going to be the manager of a restaurant and the customer not be right? She caused a horrible scene told us never to come back and believe me we will never be back after the way she acted. The food has been barely subpar the last several times that I have been there. It’s completely over priced and I’m pretty sure at this point dog food would be better. Note to the manager when you’re arguing with a customer you’re not always going to get the last word! Do yourself a favor and get yourself some help because you obviously DON’T have any business owning or managing a restaurant! I felt sorry for the waitress that took care of us she could do nothing but apologize then once we went to the register then it was a whole new rudeness taking place. I will never recommend this place and I will never be back in matter fact if anybody ask me I will tell them to make sure they don’t go to this place. Bring RIEFES back! They know how to treat...
Read moreBeen coming nearly every week for the past few weeks. Won't ever return! Tonight was a huge disappointment. We got there at 8:52 pm, closing time is 9:00 pm. The Hostess asked one of the waitress' if we could have dinner and she said we close at 9:00. I said so does that mean we can stay or not. She was so irritated right from the start and said I don't know. While she is still in the dining room, loudly she asked one of the cooks who was in the kitchen if we could eat. He replied yes, and she told the hostess in a sour tone, "he said yes, so I guess so", The hostess told us to sit on the other side of where she was not waitressing. We get seated and I hear that waitress loudly say, I already cleaned my pop machine and something else. The Hostess then comes by and ask us what we would like to drink. I said well obviously she (waitress) has a problem with us being here. Should we just leave? She said no, it will be a different waitress over here. I said, I will just take water and the other guy said he would have tea. A few minutes had passed and the next thing we know a different cook comes to our table and said, "the other Chef did not know that everything was already put away and we can't serve you". I was appauld! We walked out the front door and watched through the window that Cook telling the hostess and someone else about him getting us out. Read moreBuyer Beware!! if ordering from their website menu. Prices are drastically higher at the restaurant. I ordered chicken fried steak with breaded cauliflower and a tiny side of cheese dip. It came out to over $27.00! When I picked the food up I was unaware of the real prices and thought they made a mistake as they originally handed me the wrong order anyway. When I kindly questioned it, the girl at the front said "that's the price..good by sir". I said, but it can't be...."good by, sir"..I grabbed a menu and couldn't leave fast enough. When I got home and looked at the menu I saw that the price of the tiny cheese sauce was $4.00 instead of the $1.75 it said on their website and the breaded cauliflower was well over $10.00 instead of the $4.90 their website said. Also The chicken fried steak was $4.00 more than their website said. The chicken fried steak was only 1 piece and the potatoes were also a very small amount; the entire order fit on 1 plate. In the picture the only thing not on the plate is the 1/3 full container of coleslaw (which I understand it wouldn't be full) Point being everything fit on 1 plate. I waited an hour to call a manager but that was an act of futility. All he said was he was aware of the discrepancy of the prices and they needed to change that. Absolutely no effort in resolving the issue. Didn't offer Anything! Just a sorry. I was very calm but also in disbelief he didn't offer anything.
