I have loved every pizza I have eaten at LoPiez down the hill and since I am quarantining I thought I would try the Brady Street delivery. I ordered two pies within the span of 4 days - the first time the pie was so hot, fresh, delicious and perfect and totally knocked it out of the park. The second time I ordered we had some oopsie miscommunication with the delivery and LoPiez were ultimate champs, made me a new hot pie in 15 minutes and then had it delivered in no time at which point the incredibly sweet delivery person and I shared mutual “I’m sorry”s and “don’t worries”. And they let me keep both pies (I haven’t eaten the cold one yet but the hot one was just as incredible as before). What a great local company! What a nice way to treat customers! I don’t know what that other review is talking about this crust is perfect to me - chewy, flavourful - and I have been ruined for pizza since eating my way around Naples (italy) many moons ago. If you are considering eating pizza - and you like fresh, hot, hand thrown, pizza-oven’d punk rock pies do yourself a favour...
Read moreHighly Recommended!!! I'm very picky about pizza and gave Johnny's a try for the first time today. Right off the bat, I could see that ONE giant slice at a mere $4 would be plenty to fill me up for lunch, but, wanting to sample more than one "flavor", I ordered two slices. One a classic supreme type with meats and veggies, the other a simple pepperoni and sausage. First off, the crust was PERFECT!...slightly sweet with a little crunch, thick enough to support the toppings (unlike typical QC style), and thin enough not to take anything away from the toppings. The supreme's sausage was spicy and crumbly, true to that QC tradition, but the slice without veggies boasted nice big chunks of Italian sausage. So, whichever style you prefer! Plus, the customer service was top notch. The girl at the counter was pleasant and happily answered my questions and the cook on duty came out to welcome me and thank me for my business. Nice people, crazy reasonable prices and delicious. This will be a new regular lunch stop and I can't wait to try their other menu items/take home...
Read moreA great idea done poorly. I like the downtown restaurant and thought this location would be the same. OOF. I ordered a par-baked pizza that was practically naked and the post-baking toppings (packed separately) were so minuscule that there was not enough to cover the whole pizza. Furthermore, I was instructed to cook this at 500 degrees for 20-25 minutes. I should have been told either a lower temp or less time because it started burning at about 11 minutes. I salvaged what I could and when I brought it to the attention of the primary location. And while I appreciate they did offer me a replacement... if I drove back up to Brady. However after all of this I'm straight-up leery that either the crew there doesn't care or that someone over at Brady actively...
