Rudy's Tacos, West Kimberly — Restaurant in Davenport

I have been a long time Rudys customer and I can't believe what just happened. I walked in the door and the sandwich board said: taco salads and taco salad Supreme 5.89. Ok I will have a taco salad. So I order my meal and get my bill and it's full price. The waitress said that was Friday's special and the date is on the board. I went and looked again and it wasn't. I asked for the manager. The manager comes over. I said your sign has a special on taco salad. She said that was the Friday special. I said how am I suppose to know that. She was very vocal and told me that I had an attitude. I said I wouldn't have ordered it, If it wasn't on special. Again she told me I had an attitude. Than she says she will adjust the bill. This has been the worst carry out experience ever...when you ask for your tacos "deconstructed " and they have no idea what you're talking about....you explain and pick up your order and NO cheese in the bag.... You call and tell them the problem, and their reply is bring the order back and we'll remake it ... REALLY are they that dumb? I asked do you want the food back from the babies plate too as we found the error after we made her plate...? The manager says well that's up to you... guess what they didn't get her little bit of food.... You could have just offered a future credit and appologise? Oh no never 1 time heard an apology until my son in law turns to walk out with the corrected order and he hears "sorry".... Won't be going back to this location again Rudy wouldn't approve of this...

This a poorly ran business! My high school daughter was hired on despite them knowing her limited availability due to school. They constantly scheduled her when she wasn’t available and made it out to be her fault. She told them the day her grandma passed away that the funeral would be that week and even though they knew that they still fired her for it!!! I tried to reach out to management who said it was the owners doing not theirs and said he probably wouldn’t contact me or take my call about this situation. My daughter was already devastated about her grandma but now she’s even more devastated that she has to find a new job to save for college next year. Such an awe...
