First Issue. The website when ordering dropped a sandwich from the order. I believe it was at the same time I was entering the code for buy 1 get 1 free coupon code. But it disappeared and I caught it after the order was placed reviewing the total. So I ordered a second order to get the sandwich with another free one. So first problem is that issue I had with the order. But I was happy that I scored the coupon. Plus I wanted to try out their new Outlaw, Champ, Boss, Supreme Meats sandwiches. I ordered for pick up. The notification indicated it would be ready at 5:20. I walked in and no order was ready. I saw two other other people pick up orders. I also saw 4 other orders in line that were completed as well. I could see one sandwich open in the back ground just laying around for a very long time. So I asked status. The women - I believe she was supposed to be the manager, as the rest were teens or way younger, plus I noticed later she spoke to them advising what to do. She told me, yes they have the order and working on it as we speak. I watched while other walk ins were helped. 15 minutes later, I saw them asking each other whos sandwich was sitting on counter and someone else indicated it was a to go order. So then one of them finally worked on getting that done. And 5 minutes later (making it 20 minutes already waiting since it was supposed to be done), the guy indicates here is your order. I went up and looked at the orders. Grabbed my first order but did not see the second part of the order. I asked and at first they didn't know but the manager indicated yeah it was part of that large order. So then they had to make the two more sandwiches which somehow was another 10 minutes. One of the employees while making the sandwiches was talking not realizing that his talking to the other employee included cuss words. Not that he was being abusive talking to anyone, just more a boasting show off talk so probably second nature which is fine with family or friends but I would not expect to see it at any business ordering food. There were a total of four people working. As you can see from the picture no one else was ever eating in. And 4 orders were there when I walked in along with 2 more carry outs and two more walk ins. Which does not seem like that would constitute being that busy that these could not have been prepared on time. At the least, it would be nice if the app was changed to notify status of sandwiches not completed yet. I could tell the one girl was new as she had asked the guy how he wraps the sandwich. The wrapping was sticking out at the ends instead of tucked in. And only 2 of the 6 sandwiches were cut in half. And maybe it is just me, but the meatballs in the Boss seam to have gotten smaller from the original Meatball sandwiches I used to order in the past. I had to have my daughter try the Outlaw as I am not a huge steak person but it seemed the steak was rubbery. She loves steak and indicated she would not order this one again. But on a positive note, the Supreme Meats with the Vinegrette did get the thumbs up from both of us. Originally when there was four people in line, there were four employees up helping, but as they disappeared, one employee went back to cut up more items. I could expect that. The girl (in training I believe) stood at the register just waiting on others to complete the sandwich for her to try and wrap. And then the manager disappeared to the back then to side. When the second order was received, I just received here you go sorry for the delay. Would you expect anything more when you order was 20-30...
Read morewent there today around 1-2 pm, the lights were off but they were open. staff were young and not trained correctly as I had to remind the bread person 3 times what meat and cheese I wanted. there was a customer in there that was unhappy because they were out of mayo, and thought that they should put out a sign stating that fact. I agree with that, also found out they didn't have oil with their vinegar. The rude manager had to ring out a customer whom was using a coupon, so when they were done with that customer they stated to me that they weren't processing anymore coupons today. Rude. I didn't have one anyway. The light over the condiments wasn't on so it was very dark and the containers were half empty. The child putting on the condiments had NO idea how much to put on (like I said, NO training). The manager came out of the back with her attitude to ring me out, I DID NOT leave a tip! I asked her if this location was closing and she blankly said "no." I then had to ASK for a bag for my footlong! 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND this...
Read moreWent to Subway on West locust Street a couple weeks ago there was two people in front of me waiting for takeout orders they were delivery drivers and there was one guy up front two people in the back, there was no meat no sauces hardly any vegetables on the bar where he makes the sandwiches. So he kept trying to fill it up. The one girl in the back never came out of the back One of the other ones did but she was more concerned about leaving and she wouldn't help him restock all the stuff which is something they should have done on days to begin with and he was the only worker cuz somebody didn't show up that night it took us 40 minutes to get a sandwich. Service was terrible and it wasn't the guy's fault it was the two workers from days maybe the manager should do her job and make sure things are right. If I owned that Subway I'd fire everybody there and keep the one guy that was actually trying...
