Taco John's — Restaurant in Davenport

I have to share an experience i had with this store. I placed an online order and inadvertently selected pickup instead of delivery. Since there is no provision to cancel the order anywhere on the website, I called them. Robin answered the call, l asked if there was a way to change the order to delivery but the answer was no. Robin, in a fit of providing EXCELLENT service, went all the way to their district ops manager and arranged for a credit. Robin proceeded to help me get a new order and get it delivered. This was, again, excellent service. But it gets better. When the order arrived, the driver left the food and was walking away when I noticed 1 drink had not been delivered. So what did the driver do? She apologized and went back to get the drink. Not only did she bring the drink, which was great, she brought 2 Church's too. Again an excellent recovery for Taco John's. And finally, after and hour had passed, what did I get, a follow up call from Robin. She called to let me know the credit had been put in and to make sure the order was correct and if we enjoyed it. 12 out of 10 points to Robin, the driver and Taco John's on Kimberly Road in Davenport IA. The lady who took our order was very nice, so we can't in good conscience leave a one-star review, which is what the food quality and the lack of cleanliness truly deserves. The food was stale and unseasoned, except for the olé potatoes which my husband threw away because he said they had "enough salt to kill an elephant" 🐘. The refried beans were hard and crusty (and obviously not fresh). They were out of hot taco sauce, which made the tacos taste even worse 🌮. It was obvious that they do not clean their tables or their chairs (or the floor), making it nearly impossible to find a place to sit and eat. But worst of all: there was no soap, no hand sanitizer, and no toilet paper in the men's room. Please either get this nice lady some much-needed help or close this embarrassment to...

Stopped by for a couple of tacos and I almost had to call an ambulance for my wife when she slipped on the wet, greasy floor. She fell while carrying our order and hit the floor HARD. NO ONE came to check on her or offer HER ANY ASSISTANCE as she is still on the floor. I attempted to assist her and almost fell immediately. This place has an obligation, as do All businesses to fill out an accident report and offer assistance. This occurred last weekend and my wife has suffered greatly while having to go to urgent care and then wear a huge boot for several weeks. I'm disgusted by this business and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Seriously considering contacting an attorney. I DON'T...
