This place is a joke. I took my family of 4 here to eat for the night. Upon our arrival they only had 3 tables out of 15 open. Okay its Friday night, normal people don’t come to Waffle House at 8:45pm to eat when they know Waffle House closes at never, understandable. We pointed to the closed off area that accounted for 2/3rds of the restaurant’s seating area that must’ve been reserved for the ghosts of Waffle House past but hey, not my issue. The woman behind the counter soon realized that the poor seating arrangement that stemmed from a poor business decision was causing a poor customer experience, and then gave us permission to sit at one of the tables that was reserved for tomorrow’s customers. While I’m painting this vivid image of my horrible experience, please keep in mind that this place is only about 45 feet wide. Anyone who has ever eaten at a Waffle House obviously knows this and obviously knows it takes less than a minute to walk from point A to point B. Anywho moving on… so now we sit in these once vacant seats, and we are waiting for the server to offer us water aka the bare minimum that is expected when dining in. After sitting down looking over the menu, the woman that told us to occupy empty seats then remembered she wasn’t in the customer service business and asked me to remove my family from the table we were sitting at, to then wait for one of the 3 open tables to be available. Her reasoning behind this was because they didn’t have a server for the “section” we were sitting it. LOL please stop. This store isn’t big enough to have sections. The store in itself is one section. If it took you .3 seconds to walk over here and tell me that, I’m confused why it couldn’t take the one server in the building to walk over and take our order. I mean she only had 3 tables that she wasn’t being very attentive to. But I want to give a special shout out to the management team for running a tight ship and protecting the integrity of the...
Read moreThis review has nothing to do with the food. I do not care about other individuals opinions about Waffles House's food. The true essence of their food is to look and feel that things aren't sanitary. Which we all know their food is as well has very tasteful. Furthermore, I'm taking my time to write this review because I recently visited this location and when tell you I was beyond disappointed with the lack of customer services my husband and I received. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice young man which was ordered out loud NOT to assisted us because he was NOT a "waiter". So as we sat for about 10 mins, while being ignored from everyone I decided to ask for help. Here is where things took a turn. The manager was this wannabe male model who continued to do inventory after I asked for help. The cook spoke up veryyyy rudely to me and said "We only have one waiter, people before you were waiting 30 mins before you.. so you have to wait. Wowwww, really? Guess what that's not it. Moreover, What put the icing on the cake was when my husband and I heard the cook CLEARLY tell the manager "Can you take their order because they crying over there!!! Waffle House if I took my time to write this long review it clearly shows how furious I am with the lack of respect your staff has shown me on my visit of 9/4/17. I will say this to end things off, if I didn't learn how to master how to remain calm that visit would of ended very differently. My husband and I gathered our belongings and quietly walked out. Never will I argue with a mad, bitter, underpaid individual who works at WAFFLE HOUSE. Nor will I ever attend this location again. Might even call corporate? You know what I will because never have I ever felt like I needed to with ANY company but I need to in order to stop this kind of behavior towards hard working individuals who just want a nice meal from WH. Thanks...
Read moreThis was the Wolfpack’s first visit to this Waffle House under the new leadership of General manager Natalia. I first sat at the counter where I was greeted enthusiastically by Adrienne / Waffle House trainer. When a table became available I moved to a back table where I was greeted by a Waffle House people resource specialist by the name of Andrea. I quickly learned that this Waffle House is number one in Florida and for good reasons . My server Jacqueline went above and beyond in serving my order. She even “ decoded” the server - cook messaging of orders which is their trade mark . Cook Dante and Natalia , yes managers cook, barely bat an eye and get every order done as ordered. New to the team were Z , Nunu and La Sonya . With leadership and training shown by Natalia, Adrienne and Andrea I am sure that this Waffle House will remain number one! 8-8-23 today the Wolfpack returned to this outstanding Waffle House as he said he would. My server Suzzee went above and beyond the call of duty . When my coffee was low, she made me a fresh pot of coffee. When a Wolfpack buddy asked for decaf coffee, Suzzee made him a fresh pot too: we thank you Suzzee and look forward to our next visit.10/11 and 10/13 My next visits were actually two . Today I’m writing on Friday the 13 th and right on schedule I accidentally caused a glass of water to spill . No bad luck was going to happen today as my good fortune brought me Angie as my server. She has been a server here for five years and no task is too big or too small for her . My friend joined me and our meals were served flawlessly and with smiles galore.Angie is the perfect fit for manager Natalia’s team. Mentions also go out to our to servers Trina “ Turner” - proud Mary is played on the juke box! And to “Kool” Kaly . Don’t walk ,Roll down a river if you have to...
