Tonight was the first time my friend and I tried this place out. We found it when we started looking for unique places on Google. The place is really cute. It isn't a very big place, but they do have "reservation" options online which is interesting. We chose to sit outside since I brought my dog with me (yes, they are very dog friendly). They have a "dog" menu which was cute. My dog loved the chicken, rice, and pumpkin puree in the dog bowl they had. The hostess even came out and gave her a few treats. We ordered their Schnitzel (Pork), and the Sausage sampler. Both were really good. For dessert, we got the Kaiserschmarrn, which was yummy, especially because we ordered some vanilla ice cream with it. We have been to other German restaurants around the area and love that we found another one.

Our server's name was Stephanie. She was very sweet and friendly. She gave us good recommendations and was quick with refills etc. too. All of the other employees we interacted with were just as friendly. Even the customers who were going in and out of the restaurant were friendly (which isn't very common in South FL in my opinion). Overall, really nice atmosphere and experience and my dog highly enjoyed it.

I always read reviews before checking a new place out and while this place has mostly 5 stars, I noticed the 1 star reviews too. To those people I have to say (you're 100% wrong) and here is why...

German places are not known for "Vegan" food (maybe look at the menu first before going to a place), Sausage is supposed to have some char to it (it's not burnt), this place isn't very big so it makes sense that during Octoberfest, they may be very busy and not have room for tons of people, and most places have prices in this range (it's not that bad). Those reviews do not properly reflect this place at all and should remain ignored. I worked as a server for 17 years, so I know people who leave those kind of reviews clearly have never worked in the service industry. This place is great and I will for sure return and bring...

I normally don't write bad reviews. However, I can't let this slide.

When we first got there, server did not give us any menus and also took about 20 minutes to bring over two glasses of water.

It was extremely SLOW and when we FINALLY ordered our food, it took about 45 minutes to get to the table.

I ordered the pork sliders, they were DISGUSTING. They tasted like they were soaked with moldy water. So I sent them back. I'm scared I'm going to get food poisoning now. I let my husband taste it and he spit it out. (Which he never does)

My mom ordered a beer (with a different server because ours never came to the table)... 10 minutes go by...20 minutes go by.... finally I asked the same server about her beer (she has glasses and nasty curly hair) she gave me the rudest response ever! "Well I told your sever, I don't know what you want me to do" then walks away... I literally could not believe that response. She should not be in this industry. She should be fired, kept giving me dirty looks the rest of the night.

We asked for the check TWICE... finally received it. She held on to my husbands card for about 20 minutes just walking around until she finally brought back our card.

I've never had such a horrible experience at a restaurant, and I normally write great reviews. We arrived at 6:30 and left at 9! So ridiculous. We literally just ordered wings, kids chicken fingers and sliders (which I sent back).

Do yourself a favor and save your $. Please go ANYWHERE ELSE.

NOTE TO OWNER: fire both of the waitresses that were...

I was really disappointed to see how badly I was treated when I came to this place that I’ve heard so many good things about. Last Sunday, my son and I visited this location. We sat outside and after about 10-15minutes, the waitress came over, slammed the silverware on the table and her only words were “it’s gonna be a minute!” And walked away. She did not say hello, did not introduce herself, nothing. Already We felt very uncomfortable. 15 minutes later, she then returns takes our order and told me that she’s by herself and for us to order everything at once because she had A baseball team that she had to tend to, so we order food and drinks. I kept having to ask the bus boy for things that were needed, Nobody ever came To check on us or ask about the food. I asked the bus to tell our waitress to come by the table as I wanted to order a beer and desert for my son. She comes. I ordered the beer and the desert. When the beer comes out, it was brought by the bartender and she proceeds to slam the beer on the table and looks at me and says “this is for you, ain’t it?” Bad grammar aside, I am there with my child so of course it’s for me, It’s not going to be for him. I understand people have bad days, but the food is truly too good to be served by such nasty people. I even wrote this on the receipt before we left. Truly a shame. I would love to go back because the food is so good however I’m afraid that I’ll be treated badly again and I refuse to reward bad...

Great German food if you're craving it, but also a regular restaurant/sports bar with other things to choose from and everything is pretty tasty. They are very dog friendly as well, with not only a patio where you can sit with your furry friend, but even a separate dog menu. Staff is very nice and service is always prompt when I've gone and everything tastes made to order. The cabbage, potato pancakes (kartoffelpuffer) and 🥨 are fantastic. The sausage is homemade and amazing! The beer 🍺 is cold and many domestic as well as imports. The schnitzel really is the crowning achievement so if you've never had it, do yourself the favor. All in all great little spot you could go to with a date, with some friends to catch a game, or even a casual business lunch. We had a straight up German feast with schnitzel, sausage and ALLLLL the sides lol. This picture is what I was able to catch before finishing it all. You can eat like a visigoth here and leave happy lol.

Nice place all around. The TVs are playing sports but on mute and with captions (thankfully), so you can actually have a conversation with your friends (unlike some other "mountain themed" places around here, not naming names but you know who they are). The food is a combination of "pub grub" and "classic German restaurant" - there's everything from wings to burgers (including Build Your Own) to bratwurst and spatzle. Food quality is amazing! I've had a dozen different things here so far, and they've been consistently 5/5. One of the nice touches is the "Build Your Own German Sampler Platter", with about 2 dozen selections, so you can try out a bunch of stuff - pictured: spatzle, German potato salad, Chicken Schnitzel, Kartoffelpuffer, and Pretzel Dippers. The service is nice an friendly, and the location is a quiet suburban mall, so there's plenty of parking. There's an outdoor seating area, too. Very, very comfortable, pleasant, and chill place.
