If you do the buffet its basically five very similar versions of the same roll that just repeat over and over... I would not say terrible but not great... Good may be even a little generous. They have other items they throw on the boats but nothing expensive or amazing.

The other side of the buffet has chicken, spring rolls, potstickers and some other stuff. Micro cookies and a pepto flavored mouse ??? cup.... That side was nothing to write home about even if your postage is free.

PARKING... Not the fault of the buffet but its like trying to find a spot in San Francisco... TERRIBLE! And our visit was on a weeknight moments after 5 PM.

You can get sushi just as good or even better with more variety from Winco or Bel Air... Save the $19.95 a person for all you can eat and put that on something you have a say in for what is included.

Davis Sushi Buffet was a good spot to eat sushi. Recently, I would say about 5-6 months ago, the cleanliness has gone out the window. The stools are all ripped and dirty, the carpet smells and although the guys doing to serves is nice, he cant be expected to clean, take orders, greet guest all alone. The owners of Davis Sushi Buffet have good sushi but need to invest money in hiring another server, replace furniture and please clean! I use to bring my parents here but no longer, I would feel embarrassed to bring anyone here to eat. Unfortunately, I know Davis Sushi buffet will not change its path unless we all stop spending our money there. Please do not eat here, not only is it disgusting to eat sushi in a rancid smelling restaurant, but imagine the kitchen that we, the public, dont see. I cant imagine how dangerous, and a risk it is to eat sushi at Davis Sushi Buffet. DO NOT EAT...

I came to this place for lunch with family. This was a new location. There was only one waiter who was doing super multitasking job (arranging the tables, taking care drinks, taking food orders, bringing food to the table, cleaning up the tables, ....). Hat off to the waiter but also felt sorry for him. Couples of reason I gave this place 2 stars: Major shortage of staff. Therefore, ordered food were missing or really late delivered. And the tables don't get cleaned up until the end of the meal. Some of the sashimi weren't really fresh. Some of the ordered dishes were moved to dinner only. Very few selections...
