J & S Kitchen — Restaurant in Dawsonville

This is a great place for country comfort. They have become my family. Now, the way I look at it, the food is most important. Doesn't matter if it is served on a paper plate, as long as you get your satisfaction, who really cares? If you do not want the biscuit or the fried, they can please you with the grilled. This is north Georgia and so.many lobe our Culture. I have ate at many upscale five star restaurants and felt so disappointed with the food. Here, it is the best and great people....

Went there for a biscuit and wedges this morning. So after I pay they tell me they only have 4 wedges and not 6 . They asked if I wanted to wait 8 to 10 minutes, since I have my crying three month old in the backseat I said it was OK. They offered me a refund for the difference. I also said no to that because it wasn't a biggie. They are always so nice and efficient I didn't mind. Love this place always have and always...

Not a fan of their eggs. But if you are a good ol' boy or gal or person who just wants some biscuits and gravy served with a side of bacon and a coke, this is a good alternative. As far as taste goes, Billy's "Heavenly Biscuits" is better because you get more and the biscuits are a bit fluffier then J&S ... But sometimes you wanna eat breakfast without a bible lecture and this is the next...
