Probably the best restaurant to visit if you are boating the Halifax River (the intercoastal). They have space for about 6 boats coming to dock for the restaurant. We had a 24' pontoon and fit in with plenty of room. We went out for our anniversary so didn't mind spending a bit more for dinner. It was busy (February between race week and bike week) but we were seated in about 10 minutes. They took our number and texted when it was time to sit down so we sat on our boat while waiting. I ordered the shrimp and scallops in lobster butter, which was very good. I feel like this meal, considering the price and other sides, should have included more protein (there were 6 scallops and 6 shrimp. Initially I had ordered the beans and rice and sweet potato fries. They brought out regular fries because they were out of sweet potato fries, but nobody had checked with me on the substitution. Thankfully they were willing to exchange those out to the vegetables for me. Had I known the vegetable blend was as good as it was I would have ordered those instead of the rice/bean blend. The rice and bean side dish was fairly bland and not something I'll order again. Now, the banana fosters dessert. We never order dessert, except for our anniversary, largely because of cost but also because my blood sugar misbehaves. We had heard about the banana fosters dessert so we didn't have to look at a menu. Yes, get this to share. It's about $15 and has what tastes like a butter, cinnamon and brown sugar syrup on the bottom, 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream and a fresh fried pastry on top and nuts (I believe walnuts). Bananas have been lightly cooked in the sugar mixture. It was very good though. Our waiter was friendly and we always had what we needed. We were in the seating that was a rollers and that was pretty neat too. If our kids were with us that would have even gotten a bigger kick out of...

My first time here. Saw it from the bridge many times and said we should come here one day. The menu is full of good sounding dishes. This is a really nice location for a waterfront restaurant. Hopefully, you'll get a table outside. We got a table fairly quickly. Our wastes, Cory was awesome. She was very helpful with helping us choose the perfect dish. We put in our drink selections and the chowder for 3 of our 5 folks. The soups came quickly and if this was any indication of what our meal was gonna be like, we were in for a great meal. In other words, the clan chowder was fantastic. A ton of clam and a bunch of flavor. We placed our main course selections. Jerk Chicken, Grouper, Gater, and Tilapia. After a few drinks for everyone, we got our main course. Everyone said that their meal was really good. Nice pieces of fish with nice sides. Coleslaw, hush puppies, and veggies. The Jerk Chicken was very different. Court told me that in the beginning. She even brought out a sample of the sweet and Jerk sauce they use. It was OK. But the dish was even more different because of the cream they use. The dish was better than expected. The gator bites were way better than others I've tried. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We were all satisfied, and plenty full. I recommend this place. A...

Very unique place. Food is freshly made, and in our experience, perfect. The breading on the fish was unlike we have had before. The Mahi BLT is definately a must try. Good selection of beers, whiskeys and drinks. The icing on the cake was the Key lime pie. Band, wow. Groove 41, one of the best cover bands we have heard. The lead singer was a surely high energy. This place is also part of a marina, and has a vip club, has a pool, etc. All boats welcome! Dock and Dine. Our only complaint, the hostess station employees. Stacy, you seriously need to get a hearing aid, and some manners. It wasn't just us you were rude to, and hour 1 or hour 10, the first rule in customer service, its the customers first hour seeing you, you give them your best every hour. Signage: yall, please make it more clear, especially for those who have never been there, and are arriving by boat. We saw tons of open tables upon arrival, and just sat down. We were rudely corrected by another server who obviously needed a break. Now, onto the best for last. If you want the best overall experience, you need to request Alex! Absolutely one of the kindest, most attentive, and positive energy servers we have ever had. For this reason alone we would return. Thank you Alex!

Caribbean Jack’s Review: A Second Chance Worth Taking! We had to give Caribbean Jack’s a second try, and I’m so glad we did! Let me start with the food—because wow, they really showed up this time. First off, the fried fish sandwich with pepper jack and bacon… let me just say, it’s absolutely next level. Crispy, flavorful, and the pepper jack gives it just the right kick. I’m still thinking about it. Then there’s the coconut crusted shrimp—literally to die for. Perfectly cooked, lightly sweet, and that crunchy coating? Chef’s kiss. And I can’t forget the peel and eat shrimp—a classic, but they make it special. The butter they serve with it tastes like melted gold. Rich, savory, and just so satisfying. Now… let’s talk dessert. The Bananas Foster—oh my god. The rum sauce alone is worth coming back for. Sweet, boozy, and full of flavor. Every bite was a perfect end to the meal. All in all, Caribbean Jack’s totally redeemed themselves and then some. The food hit all the right notes this time around. Definitely recommend giving them a shot (or a second shot if you weren’t sold the first time like us)!
