I am a loyal Dunkin Donuts customer. Their coffee is much better than Starbucks, I know many will disagree...but I stand by my opinion :) I drive past two locations in the morning and go a good 5/10 minutes out of my way (depending on traffic) just to go to the LPGA location. The team that works at this location is why I go out of my way, they are always cheerful, energetic, have personalities, and LISTEN to your order. This is a very busy location, so simple mistakes will occasionally happen...just like at any other busy establishment. Mistakes can be easily corrected, but it's the attitude of the team member that makes the difference. I will not let one bad attitude ruin the 5 star review I gave because I refuse to let one person change my opinion of this team as a whole. This morning I went inside, rather than my usual drive thru visit, because my 3 year old wanted to pick out a snack/juice from the store inside. I go in, order my usual medium iced coffee, skim milk, liquid sugar. While I was ordering, a shift leader was off to the side talking on the phone to someone who was inquiring about a job as a baker..she was beyond annoyed that this person called at 8 something in the morning when they were busy and had no problem sharing her frustration with the customer ahead of me and myself. I understand, you're busy, but the phone is there for a reason. You're the shift leader, you have many responsibilities, including answering questions when people decide to call...inconvenient or not. She also mentioned how the man on the phone was slurring his words and made jokes about him "being baked wanting a baker position". She made my coffee while she was making jokes, obviously not paying attention, and gave me a coffee with cream and sugar. It was obvious that it had cream, my usual coffee is almost transparent due to the skim milk so I knew it was made incorrectly. Again, mistakes happen, it's all good, I nicely asked the cashier to verify my order and thought perhaps it was entered into the computer wrong. I speak very clearly when I order and have ordered the same coffee, same way,for years. The shift leader then proceeds to argue with me...from behind the coffee machines..she wouldn't even look at me. Telling me it was skim milk. It definitely was not. After going back and forth, she realized I wasn't going to take the coffee she made. I cannot have cream in the coffee or anything that I consume...hence why I always ask for skim milk. She makes my coffee, sets it on the counter next to the first coffee, and they looked completely different...because she made it right the second time. Yet wouldn't admit to her mistake. Terrible attitude, terrible service, but I'll be back...because like I said, I will not let her ruin my opinion of the store and their awesome staff. I used to work at a Dunkin Donuts, I've worked in food service, retail, and the financial industry for the last 5+ years...we all have our days, but don't let your bad attitude get in the way of giving good service. I wasn't throwing a fit, I wasn't asking for a refund, I just wanted my coffee.
Regardless, this store still gets 5 stars from me. Miss shift leader, you get 0 stars...lead by example. Your team had a far better...
Read moreI ordered a beyond sausage sandwich, glazed chocolate donut, and a cup of water from their drive thru today. The sandwich as you can tell from the picture, was only slightly warm, not toasted at all. I could tell there wasn't enough glaze on the donut like there normally is, and she didn't even provide a straw for the water (thank God I had an empty bottle to pour it in).
On top of that, the whole time I tried to order, I could hardly hear her, even after I told her and she asked if I could hear her better and I still couldn't. Also, I guess the only cup they have for water is the giant one and they charge 30 cents (not much but still...
Read moreWho doesn’t love DD? They have a very friendly staff at this particular location. My only suggestion would be to please package doughnuts correctly. I usually order 2 doughnuts and lately they have started throwing them in a bag. That is fine, except they place the doughnuts face down and the icing ends up all over the bag. If they use the cute little 2 count box, it is fine-but not all use them. So I wish packaging was more consistent. But the doughnuts are always good. Beware, this location can be very busy at times but I’ll always...
