I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred at the Wendy’s located at 2120 LPGA Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL on August 8th at 10:45pm - 10 :55pm .

What Happened:
On August 8th , at approximately 10:40–10:55 AM, I arrived at the Wendy’s located at 2120 LPGA Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL to pick up a DoorDash order.
Upon arrival, we first approached the front doors, but they were locked, so we went to the drive-through. When the employee at the window greeted us, her tone was rude from the moment we explained that we were there to pick up a DoorDash order.
We informed her of the order details. At this time, the restaurant was not busy — there were no cars in the drive-through line and no visible customers waiting. Despite this, she abruptly told us that we needed to state that information at the drive-through intercom, and insisted we drive around the building again to place the order properly.
We complied and went back through the drive-through, but I told her that I found her behavior rude. She then involved her manager, another Black woman, and together they refused to give us the order we were assigned to pick up.
As a result of their refusal, I was unable to complete the delivery, which caused me to lose income for that job. This experience was unprofessional, unnecessary, and directly impacted my ability to work.
I am requesting that this matter be reviewed immediately, that appropriate action be taken with the employees involved, and that I be informed of the resolution.
Impact: this poor customer service impacted our finances and mental health. We were shaken up by this encounter.
Evidence: I have videos of their behavior. The manager agreed not to give us our order that needed to be delivered. We had to call DoorDash and explain to them that the restaurant refused to give us the order. I will attach pictures of the workers and video of their behavior. When I stated I was calling corporate no one cared. I just do not understand how you can allow these type of work behaviors at your restaurant.

Read moreTerrible experience for my family as we were traveling. I would not recommend. The level of disrespect , lack of professionalism was astounding to say the least. We went into drive thru ordered bundle meals. 5 of them but was told they could only process 3 at a time in the drive through and was told to go in side to the lobby we got out of line went to lobby and the doors were LOCKED my husband knocked on the window to get someone’s attention we were told to get back in drive thru okkk…. so then we got back in line we were told they didn’t know the lobby was locked and they asked what kind of bundles we said Sausage Biscuit. Since we could only do 3 at time we made sure our kids were fed. There was obviously a miscommunication because I was under the impression that it would come with Seasoned wedges. We were given multiple sandwiches. While going through the line a second time to order our food we mentioned that the wedges were missing while ordering our meals. The person on the speaker advised me to come in and speak to manager I asked was the lobby open because we had already driven out of line once. The persons response was…”you don’t see all these people inside and you have the nerve to ask me that.” I was floored!!!!! And absolutely livid!!!!! I went inside the manager seemed very uninterested in solving the issue and was trying to impress the construction workers in the lobby. In front of other customers she allowed the worker on the grille to speak loudly and arrogantly to me in front of my daughters. ALSO when I asked about the locked door issue. She replied nonchalantly yes because I locked them…. Absolutely INSANE!!! The level of customer service and professionalism was VERY poor. And the icing on the cake I was refused a refund or to even correct our order…. I reported to corporate and will be working with my bank to receive my money back which I should not have to do after a horrible morning dealing with Wendy’s workers. Read moreWow where do I begin. After reading the reviews, I can't believe this is still an ongoing problem. My 1st and last time at this establishment!! I placed an order at the drive thru asking questions about the meals since I see the menu has changed. I was looking for the bacon cheeseburger meal but couldn't find it so I asked if they still had it. He said yes its the number 7. I said ok, just an FYI there's no number 7 on the menu it went from 6 to 8 no 7 in between. He very loudly and rudely said yes there is. I was taken back by the rudeness and tone in his voice. He asked anything else I said yes no pickles no onions please and proceeded to give him the rest of my order. As I asked "A" question about the pretzel burger, if it had mayonnaise, he was so bothered he had someone else finish taking my order. She to was loud and rude talking over me as I specified no mayo on my burger. Something that was supposed to be a quick grab and keep on our journey turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. To end this long complaint I asked for the manager the lady who was also being rude was the "manager" I told her about the discrepancy on the menu she said she had to check it she did and so i was correct. I received my order asked for salt and ketchup he said it was in the bag. I checked our orders at the window to make sure everything was correct. He very rudely said if you want to check your order pull forward. I said this would take a second, there were NO CARS behind me. he again said pull forward. I told him he has a very nasty attitude. I asked for his name and shut the window in my face while the "manager" was beside him all she did was shrug her shoulders. As i drove away i realized i had no salt or ketchup in the bags and the fries were cold and stale. I didn’t go back to avoid further problems it just wasn't worth it as upsetting as it was.
