Can't give a review of the food, because I was unable to try it and after the service I received, I never will because I won't ever do that again. Don't know how this place has a 5 star rating on google, when a quick look at the ratings and reviews on Trip Advisor is the complete opposite. After my experience, I'd say Trip Advisor is way more accurate. First of all, a restaurant in todays world, with no curbside service is absurd. Came here for a late night meal after having spent the entire day at the hospital visiting family, the last thing I wanted to do was go inside a restaurant. I was not dressed for dining and just wanted to grab something and go home. Having never actually tried this place, and wanting to, I decided to stop here on the way home. Couldn't find curbside so I called and someone named "Sam" answered the phone. Told me no curbside and couldn't take my order over the phone, had to do it online. Oh, but they sure had 20 parking spaces blocked off and reserved for bikers. After sitting in the parking lot for 10 minutes trying to place my order, and having 3 credit cards fail numerous times and then they placed several holds on these cards anyway, I finally gave up and just went inside. Stood at a mostly empty bar for a minute before I was even acknowledged. Explained to the bartenders what had occured and was told that nobody named "Sam" works there and one ran off to get the manager. Manager comes out, I explain what happened to her, she says "We have no control over the online orders but we can take your order here." I said ok, and she points to the girls and says they will help you and walks away. Not, "Oh I am so sorry for the trouble, let me take that order for you now", ya know, actual customer service. That was strike 2. Strike 3 was the bartender then trying to hand me a menu, and when I stated I already knew what I wanted (obviously since I just told you I tried several times to place the order online) she puts a small piece of paper in front of me, and says, I'll be right back to you, and goes off to make drinks. I walked out and won't return. Horrible system, horrible customer service. Lots of other restaurants in the area, pass...
Read moreI had my first visit to the Daytona Beach Twin Peaks on a recommendation from a friend today. I met 3 other friends there at 5:30pm. We placed our orders and when the waitress brought out our beers she had no idea which beer was which, and we all had to sip from them and pass them around. (Bud Light, Bud Heavy and Michelob Ultra). That was just the beginning, I had ordered 2 beers at 5:30 to beat the regular price at 6:00 when Happy Hour ended. The waitress only brought one, and of course after sitting for at least 20 minutes with the first one done she finally stopped by where I asked for my other I ordered at 5:30. By this time, it was regular price so I got screwed there (Nice shady move #1). Then to make matters ultimately worse, on our 3rd round of beers the waitress dropped the order at the bar, and disappeared for 15 to 20 minutes with our beers sitting on the bar getting hot. The bartender would not let us grab them, and insisted we wait for our server. Well, by the time she came back to the table (Without our beers of course), we said we don't want those hot beers sitting on the bar, and we want fresh cold ones poured. She griped and complained so one of my friends asked for the manager. The manager comes over and tries to fool us by pouring our warm beers into new cold glasses as if we couldn't see him doing it since the bar was right there. We complained about that was shady process #2 and he eventually told us we had to leave, then tried to charge us for the 3rd round of beers we never received so that was shady business practice #3. Three strikes and YOU ARE OUT! This place sucks. None of the 4 of us will ever go there again. I filed a complaint with corporate but asked them not to bother sending me coupons or anything since I won't be back for the Hottest Beer In Town at Twin Peaks (With the shady servers, and management that is worse...
Read moreSo we went to Twin Peaks and got sat right away. I looked around and a “waitress” looked at me and rolled her eyes and said “oh great” to the other waitress. We sat down and that waitress came over and introduced herself, she took our drink order and then came back. I had a sprite, my wife had a coke, and our friends had Diet Coke. The sprite was mostly all soda water and barely any syrup. I told the waitress when she came back and said that I believe the syrup is out on the sprite. She got a little attitude, and said “well, do you want something else?” I said no, I’ll try a sprite from a different soda gun. That sprite was a lot better. She took our food order and within 10 mins the food came out…..That was fast I thought to myself. I cut into my burger and the center was very red. It looked like the cooks left it on the grill for maybe, 5-7 minutes and then took it off and put it on the bun. My wife had the boneless wings in Thai Chili, she wasn’t happy with them either. Our friends food was ok I guess. So we asked for a refill and my wife’s friend noticed her cup wasn’t clean from the washer. She brought it up to the waitress and the waitress said “What do you want me to do about it?” Ummm get a clean cup and a refill please. There was a couple behind us that was vaping in the restaurant. So we paid the bill and I guess a manager asked how everything was and my wife said the food wasn’t good, the service sucked, and the couple behind us was vaping and blowing it like across their table.
We were highly disappointed. It’s not like we wanted top of the line service, but at least fake a smile, have a good attitude at work, and at least check on our table more than 3 times. We walked out and got on the bikes...
