Please let me know if I am wrong here, but when you specifically special order a pizza with Extra, Extra, Extra, Extra Sauce (because your husband is allergic to cheese and without all the extra sauce the pizza is a dried out mess. I've ordered it this way for 22 years and have never had a problem like this or if I did the pizza place was always nice and fixed it which has rarely ever happened) and even when I specifically repeated to the person on the phone taking my order SEVERAL times to make sure they hook it up with that requested Extra sauce that I'm PAYING for. I then go pick up your pizza and head home thinking like every other time I've ordered pizza before that it's done right and my husband opens up the box and it's a dried up mess. Well if a pizza place or any restaurant place that doesn't make your food as you ordered and are paying for, well aren't they supposed to fix it? or give you your money back??? or even apologizie??!!!! I mean, isn't the paying customer supposed to be satisfied? Well not if you order from Rosie D's Pizza in Dearborn Heights. I also ordered 2 other pizzas and a large order of bread sticks that thankfully were cooked fine, but I called back to let them know that my husbands pizza is a dried up and they didn't put the Extra sauce on I paid for. I said the last time I ordered from them was great and I had no problem with them getting it right. I was actually really nice trying to get this problem resolved. Well they put some other lady on the phone who supposedly made my pizzas and she says she put an extra amount of sauce on the pizza then what she puts on regular pizzas. I tell her it wasn't enough and I requested and paid for a larger amount. She tells me "well the next time you order pizza I'll put a lil bit more on". I tell her well that doesn't help me now with a dried up pizza for my husbands dinner. I ask her are you going to do anything about it now? are you going to make him a new one and I'll even drive back to pick it up and bring this one back and she says NO. I get upset and really SHOCKED that they wouldn't correct it especially since I said I would make the drive back to get a new one and not make them deliver it. I"m like you SERIOUSLY aren't going to fix this and make the pizza I ordered correct this time and paid for and fix this? She's says nope and she can just put a lil extra amount sauce on the NEXT TIME I order pizza with them. I"m like there will NOT BE ANOTHER ORDER EVER AGAIN if you don't at least fix the pizza that you screwed up on tonite and that I PAID for. She says no I won't get a refund or a new pizza, so I let her know I would let all my friends know how you treat your customers and she said she didn't care. So Avoid Rosie D's Pizza because they don't care about their...
Read moreEdit: I originally enjoyed this place enough to drive 10-15 minutes to pick it up. I'm going on like 3 times now though that they've screwed up my order, and I'm done with Rosie D's. They've always done a terrible job in correcting their problems, but this time was the worst. They put a super spicy flavor on our crust which I didn't realize till I got home and opened the box. My kids can't eat that, and nor do my wife or I care to. When my wife called to get the issue fixed, they had to go back and forth for a while before offering to remake the order but they essentially stated it would take an indefinite amount of time because of the number of orders. It's like they wanted us to just give up on it and take what we got. I was already on my way to pick up the order when my wife let me know this was their response. I decided I'd just keep going and get the order refunded. When I got there I said I wanted my whole order refunded since the chicken and bread sticks would be cold before we got other pizza to have it with (let alone the total waste of my time) and the "manager" said he would only refund the pizza because I didn't have the other stuff there. I left the pizza there and told them to keep the money. I own a small restaurant, and if someone screws up an order, we don't do the bare minimum to resolve the issue, or try to burden them out of getting it corrected, we go above and beyond to make it right and bring them back. You guys needs some serious training. I will not be back to Rosie D's. Original:Good pizza, good...
Read moreSo we enjoyed the pizza so much, we decided to try the "non-pizza" part of the menu.
Last night, we ordered a pizza roll, a steak & cheese sub, and 2 cheeseburgers with one order of fries.
The pizza roll my son had was hot, cheesy, and stuffed full. He loved it! So did I because he couldn't finish it!
Our daughter had the steak & cheese sub. I stole a bite. It was SO SO SO delicious! Skip the cheese steak shops, and come here instead. No joke, I already know what I'm ordering next time.
My wife and I both ordered cheeseburgers and split an order of fries. I never order burgers from a pizza joint because they're usually just frozen disks. But I noticed on their menu that the patties are hand-formed daily. So I decided to give one a shot. I wasn't disappointed! Deliciousness! A nice seared crust on the burger, juicy, and seasoned perfectly! We both ordered our burgers medium. My wife's was a hair too pink for her. But she still thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious as well. I'm not a huge fan of French fries. But these fries are the exception! Sooo good!
Their Ranch, and their 1,000 Island dressings are amazing! Not 100% sure they're house-made. But I'd put my money on it that they are.
This place rocks! They're a local business that obviously takes pride in their craft. Their menu covers everyone, every appetite, and every craving. Definitely check 'em out!
