PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING!!! We went to this store looking for traditional Arabic food. When we walked in we were meet with the menu and we were recommend the combo of 4 which came Shish tawook, kebab, kafta, rice and salad. We were also recommended the hummus. When we first started eating the plate of hummus was small and tasted like it came from a can, the plate of food did not look like what it was in the menu. The hummus had CORN OIL, the salad also had CORN OIL/VEGETABLE OIL. We were given the plate of food it came with pieces of fried chicken raw pieces of kebab barley cooked, burnt shawarma and only 3 pieces of chicken Shish tawook, and I don’t know where to start with the rice the most oily/ghee drenched soggy rice ever cooked, the meats tasted horrible. The combo of 4 was $60 and didn’t have one thing as it said on the menu and the small plate of hummus was $11, yes $11 for canned hummus. This restaurant really disappointed me and the family we were expecting traditional Lebanese food this restaurant is a shame to Dearborn and Arab food. We usually come to Dearborn to eat good traditional arab food and I think we will never comeback to eat in this city ever again this restaurant absolutely disgusted us. Google recommended us this restaurant and it was on of the top restaurants in Dearborn the reviews on the restaurant are a SCAM and are all lies please if you don’t believe me please go, eat and see yourself.

We recently visited this restaurant for the first time and had a rather disappointing experience. We informed the staff that we were first-time visitors, but unfortunately, that didn’t seem to make a difference. We ordered three different plates of shawarma, not realizing that there were different sizes available. We checked the menu and assumed we were ordering the regular size. However, when the bill came, we were shocked to see a total of about $70 for just three plates of shawarma. They had charged us for the large plates without asking us what size we wanted. Additionally, they added an 18% service charge for our group of three people. I was under the impression that a mandatory service charge is only applied to groups of six or more. It felt like the management was taking advantage of us as first-time visitors who were not from the local area. Overall, the food was okay, but our overall experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, and we felt quite disappointed with the service and the unexpected charges. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication with customers in the future.

Delicious, family-owned/operated, authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Our family had just flown in from Denver to Detroit and wanted to have something "distinctively Michigan" for dinner before heading to the hotel. We knew that Dearborn has a large Middle Eastern population and culture, and we sought out a local Middle Eastern restaurant with late enough hours for our somewhat-late flight. Ali, the son of the owner, helped us navigate their large menu, and we took full advantage of his recommendations: lamb shank for our son, and the combo for 2 for my husband and me. Along with an appetizer of the best baba ghanouj I've ever had in my life! It was so much food! Even my son, who can eat quite a bit, was stuffed and we took enough leftovers for our family to have breakfast at the hotel before we check out in the morning. The food is magnificent and we got to chat with the owners for several minutes after our meal. We loved the diner-like atmosphere, and it's quite reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food. We don't visit Michigan often, but if we get back soon we look forward to visiting again.

Picture this, Our family is driving back home from taking care of some errands that we had to get done that day. We’re brain storming places to eat, my husband mentions a shawarma place just a few blocks ahead of us. Me and my husband love shawarma, especially beef shawarma. We settle on going to Andalus, a little place we’ve seen whilst going back and forth on other errands. We think, it’s got good reviews, looks cute, looks cosy, reminds me of the little diners I’d used to frequent for my occasional craving of shawarma.

Cutting to the chase, we were extremely disappointed with the service provided. We went inside, hoping to both get the lunch combo meal, saying how we’ll get two different ones to taste both the chicken and the beef, saying how it smells absolutely delicious.. then we get to the counter.

The lady (apparently the owner’s daughter/manger of the establishment) was extremely rude, pretentious and unsavory to do business with. On a regular basis, my husband (who has a louder voice than my own) orders for the both of us, but since we were pressed for time, I decided to try and help speed the process along by putting in my order for myself. Right from the get-go she didn’t offer me the choice of fries, sounding exasperated when I asked kindly if they had the option of fries. I get it, they might be low on stock or their frying machine might be out of order, very understandable. Her face was the epiphany of dislike, possibly even disgust. The apparent manager proceeded then to ask multiple times, with an increasingly bitter tone what our lunch meals included. She made it seem like she didn’t even want to be carrying on with the transaction at hand. I noticed this, and I happen to be on the more sensitive side, so I didn’t bother saying anything due to not wanting to blow it out of proportion.

Now, my husband, who is more on the rational side, instantly caught on to how rude she was being and asked me if I saw what they were seeing. I agreed and we proceeded to cancel our order, not wanting to be around a mean spirited person longer than we had to be, much less give them our money for one of their products.

We can’t say if their food was any good, it sure smelled and looked appetizing, but frankly with that type of attitude any type of meal from this place would’ve been spoiled and sour.

Upon calling them afterwards to file a complaint, we came to the understanding that the owner is the lady’s father and that he spoke little English. The lady, who we had the displeasure of conversing with at the location, picked up the phone and tried to seem apologetic, but her tone wasn’t any different nor did her „I A-po-li-gize” Syllable by syllable manner of speaking towards my husband give a speck of empathy or remorse for her behavior just a handful of minutes prior.

We understand that someone might be having an off day, we all do, but it isn’t an excuse to behave towards customers in such a manner. No one expects to be treated like royalty but some human decency would’ve been appreciated.

We will not be coming back here...

I came in and ordered two chicken shawarma sandwiches and they were phenomenal I asked for some garlic sauce on the side and they gave it to me the girl behind the counter was very polite I waited approximately 10 minutes but when I got home I ate them and I was dumbfounded because they were phenomenal the only problem I have is I wanted to call back up there and tell them how excellent the food was and nobody answer the phone and this was 20 minutes before closing I called back and let the phone ring Non-Stop for 20 minutes every 2 minutes I had to recall because it went to voicemail now this is the number that they give to customers to call to place an order so apparently on Saturday night they close when they feel like closing not when the online services say they're open till 9:00 pm they close when they want to close and they do not answer the phone to let customers know that they're closing earlyif they were closing early and they answered the phone and said so I'd be okay with it but not answering the phone and letting customers know that they're no longer taking orders 20 minutes before they close is unacceptable even though the sandwiches were outstanding I came in there at 9:00 and there was two people sitting in the station loving the food and I seen four or five people come in to make carry out orders so for them not to be open till 10:00 he tells me either the young lady does whatever she wants to do and it doesn't care when they close or she doesn't have come courtesy for the people that look at the app when it says they're supposed to be open till 9:00 and answer the phone I will go back because the food was good what should I go back when they're shooting moves like this Arabic people closing early and not staying open like the sign says it's disrespectful to the community and to the people that...
