Taco Bell — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

I stopped here late around 1 am to get something quick to eat and got home and was immediately disappointed at the portion sizes of the loaded beef nachos I ordered. I paid for extra beef and beans on several orders of the loaded nachos but only got normal sized portions when it came to the beef and beans and there was half the amount of chips in it compared to other Taco Bell’s I’ve been to. If I knew this I’d only get the normal amount of food that’s standard on it and I would have saved a $5-$6 between them all by not paying for extra stuff on it. I could have just got 2 extra orders of the loaded nachos for what I spent to get extra added to what I ordered and that would have been a better deal. Next time I’m out in that area I’ll most likely just wait until I get closer to home and stop by the Taco Bell in Ypsilanti since they actually pay attention to the order. I only stopped here since I was in the area at my friend’s place and this Taco Bell has good reviews on Google. After my experience I disagree with their ratings. Maybe I picked a bad day to visit but who knows. I might give it another try in the future to see if it’s a bad night but right now I’m a little irritated. The employees at window were really cool though so I can’t complain about them and the service but you can tell they’re a little zoned out because of some mind altering naturally growing plant that you can easily get. I just wish whoever is making the food would pay closer attention in the kitchen and give what was paid for. Taco Bell is already excessively expensive now and making record profits so ripping people off anymore isn’t cool and the employees shouldn’t care either by skimping on that stuff. Taco Bell gets the ingredients extremely cheap so the employees should make sure the portion sizes are actually a decent amount. I've been going to this TB by my house for the last few years. I'm really sorry for not posting a review sooner. Through my experience going to this location, it's always been great! Tonight, the customer service was just amazing!

I ordered online. I got my favorite Cravings Box but I guess this time I made the mistake of ordering a MT Dew Baja Freeze. Which I never get. When I arrived to pick up my order I noticed the gentleman bringing my food then my drink. I stopped for a moment thinking it was a mistake. It was a mistake. But it wasn't them. It was me!

I looked at my phone really quick and realized, I ordered the wrong drink. I wanted just a regular LG Baja Blast. Not a freeze. I felt pretty silly for how simple of a mistake it was. I told them I made a mistake and that I should've paid attention closer to what I was ordering online. They didn't even flinch, they got me my LG Baja Blast that I originally wanted and allowed me to still keep the Freeze. Just the way they handled the entire situation, with such ease and grace. It was just a really good feeling. I've done the customer service industry and worked with food before. Customers can be very, "ugh" at times.

I was more than willing to pay but they just insisted I take it. I'm a big "pay it forward" kind of guy. So for a simple of a gesture it was, I'll be paying it forward, some way, some how. I had a horrible experience. Trying to do the right thing and social distance I decided to order out using UBER EATS, to avoid leaving my home and well ppl all together. I ordered 12 tacos, 6 hard shell Dorito supreme, and 6 soft shell supreme tacos. When the food finally arrived it was 10 soft tacos and 2 Doritos tacos. Knowing that it would possibly take another hour or longer to get the correct food I decided to drive to the location myself, if you want something done right do it yourself right? When I got there I was greeted rudely, but I explained that my order was incorrect the associate and the manager helped me made it seem as if I was being extra for wanting the correct food that I paid for. Finally they agreed to make all 12 of my tacos over correctly. Can you believe they were just trying to give me 4 more hard shell tacos instead of fixing the entire order??? I ordered around 7pm, and this time its 9pm and im waiting for Taco Bell to remake my food... after about 30 mins I asked where my food was, and I was told that they accidentally had given it to someone in the drive thru. No apologies, so sympathy. I will never return to this...
