Haven't been here in at least a year because baked goods are usually dry and stale. The muffins they offer are cleary bought from Costco and have been sitting in their plastic container for God knows how long. I decided to stop in today since it was Paczi day to give them another chance.
Not only was I unimpressed with their lack of flavor (everything tasted like straight butter), but their customer service leaves much to be desired. The emplyees working the front are extremely rude and need a lesson in customer service, but im not shocked as the owner himself is the rudest of them all. He went out of his way to come out and ostracize a women for buying extra donuts. I've never heard of a business, especially an owner, having such a problem with someone buying what they're selling....do they not want sales? And i get there's a limit (although I didnt see a sign anywhere stating said limit), but she stated that someone had clearly told her she could go and comeback to get more (idk maybe yell at your staff?).
But this owner wasnt interested in talking, he was only interested in putting someone on the spot and making a scene. When you run a business, there's a way you handle customer, whether you believe they're in the wrong or not, and its not by trying to embarrass them in front of everyone, regardless if they "over ordered" or not.
Funny enough, I did drive by the business again in the late evening and saw half the wall was still full of donuts.....with only 1 person in line. Makes you wonder why the owner was about to have a heart attack yelling at the woman, doesnt seem like people are dying to get every last donut they have.
Overall, I had a terrible experience myself today as it felt like a waste of time entering that toxic environment for subpar Paczis that lacked flavor, reminds me why I stopped coming here. Definitely wont be returning. Mochidough is the new spot, their donuts are always fresh and amazing and they actually have good communication skills that allow you to have a delightful experience anytime...
Read moreThis donut shop is an embarrassment of an establishment. I picked up 4 dozen of the pazcki donuts for 4 different families and I was told that I reached my max. I love donutville and boast about how great their service and donuts are. So, i was told by one of the cashiers that if I left and came back, then I'd be able to purchase 2 more boxes. So, I left and dropped off at the different families homes, came back. Then, the owner came out and caused a scene! I was in utter shock in the behavior from this establishment. Especially, since I've been a customer with them for over 15 years. The scene this owner caused from screaming to aggressiveness, I have never witnessed anything like this before. Simply, over purchasing 2 more boxes! So, if you plan on spoling your friends and families with Pazckis, do not come here. They will embarrass you after they take your money. Clearly, the idea of calmly talking to your customer is not an option here. It's scream your head off and drive bussiness away. I will NEVER be back. Iversons is another local staple that I will be supporting. They know how to work under stress. Regardless of the amount of...
Read moreUse to love coming here but ever since they hired these younger girls (literally kids) it really fell off. There’s barley ever fresh pots of coffee usually you’ll make a pot as soon as it seems like the pot is running low but nope they make sure there down to the last drop before making a new one. Also please wash your hands before you make our coffee or give us our change back! I literally have to sit there wiping donut powder off of my cup and money cause they just seem to come out the back and just straight away serve the customers. I miss having the older ladies there, they really knew what they were doing. But still the owner son Luke is a good kid and so are his buddies that work there. The younger boys always have a fresh pot brewing and really take care of their regulars I just hope ownership steps up and let the girls know that they should really focus on having everything ready rather than race to the back just to get back on their phone. But still when done right this place has the best coffee and doughnut combo in...
