Chase Bakery — Restaurant in Dearborn

I want to start by saying that the woman who works there has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. The way she speaks on the phone and in person is incredibly frustrating. I tried to place an order over the phone so that my food would be ready when I arrived, but she insisted I come in instead, completely ignoring the order I gave her. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened.

When I got there, I repeated my order, but she barely seemed to understand it, even though I had explained it multiple times, both on the phone and in person. To make matters worse, when I received my food, it was completely wrong—basically the opposite of what I had ordered.

What bothers me the most is her attitude and the disrespectful tone she uses. It’s really disappointing because this used to be my favorite place, and the food is great. However, the way I’ve been treated by her is unacceptable, and I can't justify coming back. I won't be returning until she is no longer...

HIDDEN GEM. One time I walked away with a meat manouche from heaven, the spiced meat on the thinnest, airiest piece of bread. “The woman” that works there has the best energy every time even when she doesn’t recognize my voice on the phone. I’ve been coming here for years I experience consistent high quality food and customer service. They treat everyone like family. They are hardworking people and you can taste the goodness of their hearts in their food. It’s so easy to leave a bad review but when a bakery becomes a staple we have to recognize that there are real people behind that counter. The absolute best Mediterranean cuisine in the Metro Detroit area. You can't find any better food, or better people anywhere else!

An example of this family-owned business being the best, was when just 5 minutes ago when I accidently messed my own order up when I called in.

Mohammed, the owner and chef insisted to give me so much extra chicken with my shawarma, that I'm going to be eating it for dinner too!

Their manaeish is just as good as their shawarma, too! And that's an extremely high standard.
