As all the other reviews echo, this establishment is the epitome of a “hood Wendy’s”. This is some st you’d expect to see at a low budget HBCU or a Tyler Perry movie. As soon as you walk in you could see that the store was dirty as helI. Food on the floor, wrappers everywhere, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some rats running around back there. Anyways, I asked for a large fry and three grilled chicken wraps because I wanted to be a little healthy. But when I looked at my wraps, the “lettuce” looked like that plastic. And one wrap didn’t even have lettuce! The fries were soggy and just looked sad. Like you ever seen some hopeless looking fries before? St was depressing. Needless to say I ain’t eat them, but this wasn’t the only reason I gave one star.
Now again I literally don’t expect much from Wendy’s or any fast food joint when it comes to service. But all I do ask is for some edible food at a fair price with a nice atmosphere. While the prices were fair and with the help of some Tums I could hopefully down the food, the atmosphere that night had gone to s**t.
Two girls were fighting about hours. Yelling and st. Almost made me loose my appetite. Then she starts walking around getting louder and louder and at this point I just want a cup so I can get my watered down “pop” if you wanna call it that. So I finally get my cup, but the two are still going at it so mans and I decide to dip. Long story short my lukewarm fries were dm near icecycles, my pop was flat, and my night was ruined.
But to end it on a positive at least I had a story to tell. Sorry for the language and all, but that night was some straight bulls**t and I just wanted to keep it real with y’all. Foodie...
Read moreSo, not too long ago before they closed around 10:45pm, me and a couple of friends had two separate orders, one of which were wrong. I had a Single w/cheese, while my friends had one 6 piece nuggets and Bacon Mozzarella that was supposed to come with TWO large frosties. Instead, all they got was ONE large frostie and a large fry so they screwed that order up.
But that's not all. When I opened my sandwich after we all got home, instead of the cheese slice that was supposed to be on my burger, all I got was a sloppily made sandwich with ketchup/mustard all over the place. The "cheese" was nothing but cheddar SHREDDED cheese hastily sprinkled together. Like they didn't care that I paid for my meal which was supposed have a cheese slice, yet my friend got his Bacon Mozzarella cheese slice but they didn't bother putting my burger neatly made and didn't even put ONE slice of cheese on my meal.
That is pathetic, and unprofessional. Whoever was on the grill needs to have a serious evaluation on how to make a burger, or better yet needs to be fired. It's not hard to put a burger together, but it's insulting when I paid my money for a meal that I at least expect to be made not exactly perfectly, but at least put together right. This felt intentional that they didn't care about my order, and I shouldn't have to feel this way.
If the manager is reading this, you need to talk to your night staff on making meals during closing time, this was clearly a lazy effort on their part.
Until then, everyone best stay far away from this location. There are better...
Read moreI've been to some outstanding Wendy's in my time and I've been to some atrocious ones. Seems like management are all about turnover not service at this one. I should've figured something was wrong when the adjacent franchise Tim Hortons had a long drive thru line that was progressively moving yet the Wendy's had at most one car in its line while I was there. Kicking myself now as I read reviews from other customers AFTER my experience here. Ordered two burgers. Both came out identical. Came on the cheapest buns they could possibly buy. Was about to take them back because there was no tomato or lettuce. Had to carefully inspect. They must've used a meat slicer on the thinnest setting for the tomato because no human working at a joint like this would perform such a slice by hand, and it was one "slice". The lettuce was a partial leaf, not even one whole leaf. I don't want to go on about how horrible it was, just that it was so bad that I will never return to this location. If the bun wasn't so cheap they may have gotten an additional meat slicer on the thinnest setting of a star. They make McDonald's look like Michelin 3 star. To give them credit, it's hard to be worse than Burger King but somehow they managed to be a lot worse than that. Complete 180 experience to the Wendy's in Farmington Hills where they were outstanding all round. The only caveat to this location was the server at the window. He was very nice (hence the one star). The majority of times the servers are nice at fast food...
