Ard's Seafood Market — Restaurant in Decatur

Well, about two months ago I reviewed ard's seafood and had nothing good to say...recently, I tried them again and nearly choked on my last review!!!! The food was amazing! My wife and I ordered 2 pounds of shrimp, salmon basket, potatoes, and corn. Great flavor all around, price is great for them being the only fresh seafood place in the area, I spent about 40.00...and there were no leftovers. I also tried the "smoked tuna dip" (I am a fan) you must definitely try this. Now, I'm not bold enough to say their better then Daniel's, but have definitely earned my respect and future business. The fact they support the local pet shelter is amazing..and I look forward to trying their fresh crawl...

Three times I have made the trip from Somerville into Decatur to buy shrimp with no success. The first trip was early September and they were closed for two weeks. Second trip was after their published return date, on a Tuesday, and they were closed. After searching high and low, I finally found their hours posted on a tiny sign, many feet away from the door, not on the door where most businesses post their hours. They are only open Wednesday to Saturday. Third trip was today, Thursday, September 25. I was at their door at 10:00 AM, posted opening time, and the door was locked. I waited a few minutes and no one came to the door and no one was visible...

Father & son duo is rude af! I think a cousin also. That son is always absolutely rude for no reason. I try to keep it short & sweet but he doesn't care & is sarcastic. I always bought from them something had changed, he said it was never like that then I gave him an example & he was like well yea but we don't do that anymore.
