I ordered for two people and it came in 6-boxes. Smh. I ordered 3-orders of bacon. I got 4-pieces of bacon in a box that could have held 30.
It took 15 minutes on the phone to place the order.
I ordered two meals.
Three eggs over easy, a double order of hash browns, a double order of bacon, and toast.
Three pancakes, an order of ham, and an order of bacon.
I got 6-boxes, no toast, 4-pieces of bacon. Every darn thing in a separate box. They made it all sides.
1-box with 3-eggs 1-box with an order of hash browns 1-box with another order of hash browns 1 box with 4-pieces of bacon 1-box with an order of ham 1-box with 3-pancakes
Over $32.00 for two people to eat and they got the order wrong to boot.
I told the woman on the phone to take her time. She was constantly telling me to hold on while she found the items on the computer. I consoled her to take her time, telling her that it’s better to go slow and get it right right than to hurry and get it wrong. She agreed and thanked me. Finally she called another waitress to finish taking the order. I asked the second person on the phone to do her best to make my order out of meals with as few sides as possible. That didn’t happen. They didn’t even try.
I don’t want 6 boxes for two people. In the past, sensible and more experienced waitresses and hosts have assembled my orders with as few sides as possible on the ticket. What I got today is ridiculous.
I will never walk out having only read the receipt again on a take-out from Decatur IHOP. I can see that I need to babysit more and not be so considerate of the feelings of others to ensure they get it right. Being too polite seems to give permission for inconsideration on the part of others.
They said the order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I came inside at the 20-minute mark. My order was done. COLD already. I suppose having 6-boxes contributes to the rate at which heat would leave my food.
Train your people how to assemble a meal! I gave a self induced compulsory 10% tip for failure without checking my food which was in a bag tied in a knot.
Take your time and do it right. If people have to wait they don’t want it wrong...

Read moreHostess was extremely rude. When seating she sat us side by side with people. I told her we social distance, and wanted a different table. She rudely said wells there is no table you have to sit here. My waitress was amazing, she seen I wasn't happy and we where talking about leaving. She immediately walked over and told us she cleaned up another table if we would like to move. We moved and received the best service ever. The hostesses definitely need to be taught how to treat customer's with respect and how to follow social distancing guidelines. Because I could of reported them for sitting us one foot away from a table of six people (one was a child who had a snotty nose and kept coughing). You should ALWAYS treat people the way you would want to be treated. I know NO one would of wanted to sit that close to so many strangers. I will not be returning because of this. And this was the first time in over 7years since I been there last time two people out my family for food poisoning from old gravy , from steak and gravy. Turned out the gravy was from the day before, and all they offered was our meal free. Because instantly the food caused vomiting. We should of used our judgement and never gave them a chance to serve us again. Never again will I return to this place because they do NOT care about...
