Lobster Street Eats (Inside Decatur Food Hub) — Restaurant in Decatur

I took a chance and ordered dinner for myself from this place via a popular food delivery service on a rainy Tuesday night. I realized I made a mistake the minute I opened the bag. For starters, it's not a real restaurant. I found out it's in a shared kitchen space. I would never order from a place like this due to possible cross contamination and allergies. For dinner, I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta with an add-on of salmon. The dish came in a cheapo leaky container and was an extremely small portion for the price I paid ($18.99 plus $12.99 for the add-on salmon). At this price point, I usually can take half for lunch at the hospital the next day. Not the case here. I opened the dish and to my surprise the shrimp was missing. How is the main protein of the dish missing? After sulking for about a minute or so, I reported it to the delivery company & decided I would just eat the dish anyway. My second mistake. The sauce tasted like someone accidentally dropped a jar of salt in it. The salmon was under cooked and the pasta was over cooked. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your money here. Not a real seafood spot. The pasta is WATERY, not creamy or cheesy. The peppers are in fact raw and crunchy, and not sautéed, give or take it taste microwaved and the lobsters is well overcooked, very chewy and rubbery. For $30, the portion was very small. There’s definitely nothing Cajun about it, tastes like milk with HELLA peppers. There are shell fragments in the lobster pasta, so be aware. I also ordered crab legs so I will come back with a review on those.

Edit: seafood boil was HIGHLY salty and acidic, the sauce was made with real butter instead of margerine so that’s a plus but I still don’t recommend and honestly...

This place is trash! I ordered on DD at 9:05pm and my delivery driver was there by 9:15pm! She sat outside until 11:00pm and we decided to cancel the entire order! They lied and told her someone has already picked up the order, which was a lie!! I called twice and one was sent to vm and the second, the lady was very rude! I will never order here again!
