Monical's Pizza — Restaurant in Decatur

I had the opportunity to take my son out for lunch yesterday, and while there were a few challenges, I wanted to share my feedback constructively. The price for the buffet seemed a bit steep, costing $32.00 for both my son and me. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were only two pieces of pizza left for the entire dining room, and they weren't the simple style we were hoping for. However, I must commend our young waitress who was very kind and tried her best despite the challenging situation.

It did take quite some time for new pizza to be brought out, and when it finally arrived, it was devoured quickly, leaving limited options for other customers. As a result, my son ended up having two breadsticks, a small salad, and two pieces of cheese pizza. I also had to settle for two slices of a pizza I wouldn't typically choose, as there weren't any other alternatives without coming across as rude.

I would like to suggest that the restaurant considers revising their pricing to make it more affordable for families to enjoy a meal together. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the establishment to be better prepared for a busy dining room during buffet service, ensuring that there are enough options available for everyone.

Despite the challenges, I appreciate the efforts of the staff, particularly our waitress, who remained friendly and attentive throughout. While I may not be able to visit again in the near future, I have been a loyal customer for a long time and hope that these suggestions can contribute to improving the overall dining...

The worst pizza place I have eaten! My first time at a Monical’s and def my last! My 13 yr old granddaughter and I went shopping for the day and decided pizza for lunch. Many places to choose from but I had never eaten at Monical’s so that’s where we went. First of all it was fairly busy and only 2 servers. We were there a total of an hour and a half! Our server brought our breadsticks a LONG time after we ordered. Then about half hour later she brought the pizza. She never once checked on us . Finally after trying to get her attention without any luck, I got up and FOUND her to ask for a take home box and our ticket. Approximately another 10 or 15 minutes she brought it, UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE! When I got home and told my husband he said I should have asked for a manager. Went tonight with my family. Ordered a large family pleaser & another large. Pizza was good until I bite in a VERY hard piece of plastic! Before calling our waitress over, I wanted to make sure it was not a burnt piece, I know they are notorious for black crunchy pieces. I tried to smash it my fork, my husband tried to break as well with no avail. I told our waitress about it, showed her and she took the piece to show her manager...Big Mistake giving it to her to show manager. He can over and I explained that was eating and it hurt my tooth, I explained we tried to break it, he proceeds to tell us that he broke it with his fingers, which was a big ol lie! Then he explains how they make their pizza and how it could of been a burnt piece...I didn't want anything, but to make them aware that there was PLASTIC in our pizza. The manager never...
