Winery Bar — Restaurant in Decatur

On Friday afternoon I took my handsome hunny out for a quick lunch date. We were in a great mood and feeling easy going. When we entered we saw people standing around but nobody really looked as if they worked there so we found a place to sit. We waited quite a while and a woman walked out of the back and asked very firmly what we wanted to drink, I asked if I could look at a menu than she very RUDELY told me she wasn’t asking what I wanted to eat and then told me again that she had only wanted my drink order. Love me some Winery burgers! This a great, friendly neighborhood bar on Decaturs west end near Millikin University. I remember these burgers from my college days. They still make the most best smash burgers in town. I usually see either Joe or Cam when I am there for an evening burger. On this night, Cam was holding down the fort by himself...and made up an awesome double burgers with cheese ! Yum. Washed it down withbice cold beer... thanks Cam ! I will be back sooner than...
