Subway — Restaurant in Decorah

Came in today at around noon, so I expected there to be a lunch rush. But with a line to the door of customers in store plus continuous online orders the wait time was ridiculous. Another thing I was NOT enthused about; there were 3 workers. 2 making subs, 1 trying to ring up and keep online orders together. You could tell the 1 trying to keep orders together was stressed out/unhappy. And reason being is because her coworkers WOULD NOT communicate with her. After countless times asking what subs were with the online orders/ what subs were the customers in line, the 2 making the subs were rude with their responses to her. Needless to say as a ex subway employee I wasn’t happy with how I witnessed them treat her. Also there was no greeting people in the lines just straight “what do you want” etc. I’ll stick to Waukon or Monona from now on as I ALWAYS have a great...

The worst experience I have ever had the misfortune to be a part of. Walked in to grab 3 subs, the lady working was covered in Band-Aids on her arms and face. She continually touched her hair, while her co worker sat in the dining room with 2 sketchy fellows. The coworker decided to get up and help make the subs, but didn't bother to put on shoes. She complained about having to work while making 3 Six inch subs. She kept asking to go home early, when the "hair toucher" told her she had to stay to help. "No shoes" said that shes going to need a lot of help cleaning up the blood once she blows her head off in the store. Regardless I was too deep into the transaction at this point to not purchase the subs. I finished purchasing them, but obviously threw them away. Whoever owns this place needs to find new help. When we first arrived at the Decorah Iowa Subway, no one was by the counter. A young girl comes out from the back, never greets us and asks what we want. I ordered my sandwich. My husband went to order his hot honey chicken and the worker said they didn’t have that. So then my husband ordered the BBQ chicken and ahe looked at him like he was stupid and said ‘what?’ So he repeated himself. She said said ‘where do you see that’? He said on the menu board and then was told they didn’t have that either. That was at 5:00 pm and the store was going to be open 4 more hours. Did they even check with the managers to see if there were supplies somewhere? I paid for my sandwich and left to eat somewhere else.
