The Nest Coffee House — Restaurant in Deep River

When I went with friends to the nest coffeehouse a year ago, the inside is beautiful and has this country style look and the tea I ordered was good and one of the employees that took my order was very nice!! I also love how this place changes people with special needs by having them work at the cafe and as well as having meetup events including the water lantern lighting they have every year. I love this place, Many of the workers are special needs, and this place provides them with people skills as well as quick math skills, My brother works there throughout the week with a job coach and has improved within two months with people skills. Now to the decorations, very rustic, but very calming, many of the paintings in the wall relate to the name ‘The Nest’. This was such an amazing experience! Totally recommend. One of the best lattes I have had all throughout Connecticut. My mom got a hot latte and I got an iced oat milk latte and they were both top tier. We got egg sandwiches which were delicious and the pastries looked amazing as well. Such an amazing and welcoming environment, the staff was incredibly friendly, chatty, and great with us!
