Latinos Restaurante — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

Despicable management. This place is nasty and dangerous and should just be shut down. Waiting for a table on a late Saturday evening watching drunk people being carried out of the restaurant and there were young children watching this. I mean an older adult so drunk, his two drunk companions couldn't keep him from falling and laying on the ground and street. It's illegal to serve people to this level and that was the vibe emanating from this place. I looked around and couldn't see anyone blink an eye to this.

First time customer with my 17 years old son and I feel stupid for waiting an hour to have to just be seated and leave as they clearly didn't want us there. Letting people who speak their language inside and putting us at a dirty table on the patio right next to an area that customers come outside to smoke. Nasty smokers standing right beyond patio tables blowing their smoke on people trying to eat and there were young children there. Employees just didn't care.

The demeaning attitude of their reception girls out front to us was unnecessary. Sorry, we don't speak Spanish but we tried with the little we do know and we were there to support the business and run up a dinner tab which we would have gladly paid for with a generous tip.

Frankly this is not a place to go if you are looking to eat late on the weekend and I didn't get the feel they would be welcoming to me at any other time.

I should have taken the hint when they were seating people around us and telling me it would be best to leave as they did not know when they would have a table for us. I was told people were just camping out and drinking.

They don't have menus, you have to use your phone to order and the few employees I dealt with were just not encouraging for us to stay and try to have an enjoyable meal and certainly not fora return to this place.

I left wondering if I were in the Twilight Zone or if I had done something to encur this treatment.

Oh, and their willingness to respond to complaints of anonymous reviews and post peoples full names, shows just how nasty these folks can be. I debated posting this, but maybe if someone else is treated the same, they will at least know it did not just happen to them. I will never recommend this restaurant again. Last night, my wife and I were looking for something different. Decided to go to Latinos because of the variety. First, we asked for a booth, and they completely ignored the request and seated us in the middle of the restaurant. Wouldn't have bothered me too much, but as soon as we we sat, the next couple that was placed next to us asked for a booth, and they were moved immediately. It took the waiter 10 minutes before he came to get our drink order. She had a glass of water and I a coke. That took another 10 minutes to arrive. Meanwhile, our waiter came to serve the couple behind us twice before we got our drinks. He was about to walk away without asking if we were ready to order, but I stopped him. He gave a look of disgust as he took our appetizer order. We ordered the Chicharron with Yucca with Chimichurri sauce. Again, It took a while, but when it finally arrived, it came with no condiments. Before we could ask for them, the waiter was gone again. Mind you, he was still dealing with the couple behind us, but when we tried to get his attention, he would walk away quickly. My wife had to resort to whistles to get his attention. When we finally got our entree order, we had the Picada Colombiana for two and the Tostones with Guacamole, it was obvious that the food sat under the heating lamp for awhile because it was all so dry, we didn't want it anymore. The final straw was after waiting another 10 minutes to get the check. He had added an 18% tip already. That was not what I had planned. His attitude was extremely disappointing and unwelcoming. Went with my folks to enjoy a pleasant dinner around 10pm. I was bumped with the surprise that they had a cover fee of $10 because they had a live performer. I don't really mind paying $10 if I was going to stay there all night. We just wanted to eat and be gone. By the time we went there it was really chilly and I told the girl in the front desk we were there to eat and leave right away to just let us eat inside due to the weather conditions. We waited and sat and while I got my drinks I told the waiter to please get me the manager but he came when all of our food came out. We really wanted to just sit down inside because it was cold and the food likely would get cold right away. Mr "ANDERSON": so called "manager"! came with an attitude, and I suggested that it was the way it was on Saturdays and told me to inform myself on the restaurant's website on their events. I pulled out my phone and asked him where on the website said all of that, guess what? Nothing stated anything that after 10pm this place would turn into a night club. I told him that if anyone has any common sense would either say: "hey, it's cold. Please just this once eat inside." I guess money over kindness is kind of a thing, he was really upset and said that he was busy and that we were " WASTING HIS TIME". Mr ANDERSON is a very despicable short tempered man, you shouldn't be there working as a "Manager" if you don't put yourself in others shoes. I mean no one went there to beg for anything, I was there as a costumer and had a suggestion towards this situation. I mean my check was $98 for 3 people, shouldn't you have some common sense.
