My boyfriend knows more than I do about this place... He passes through everyday! I've only been there a few times! Yesterday, I went with him back there and got extremely lucky 🍀 see my boyfriend works at the sunsentinal which is right behind the museum and deerfield train station and he accidentally left his phone on a bench there! Well I had it on GPS the whole time and saw that it was not moving at all and nobody would answer it... So it sat there for hours and nobody saw it! We were able to retrieve it! Yay! This happened once before, a long time ago and the people that work inside the museum are always so incredibly kind! They kept it safe for him till he came back! Overall, I would say this place is wonderful! They have some amazing things to look at too if you really like railroad history and/or anything trains 🚉! I definitely recommend taking a pit stop here at least once in your travels of...

It is likely frequented by people waiting for their next train rather than tourists. They do have a sign in sheet so you can see how many people have visited and from where they hail. It's not exactly kid friendly as the trains are higher than 4 feet. If you're a model train hobbyist,...

He also operated the n scale steam locomotive which was the most livelike display I have ever seen! Definitely going back and taking my...
