A serious mistake was made with our meals even after we clearly stated our allergies. Overall, the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately, they do not take food allergies seriously. I came here with some friends for my birthday. I made reservations in advance, and they were accommodating and flexible. Everyone ordered their drinks, appetizers, and meals. I had verified that they could accommodate gluten allergies, to which the waitress confirmed they have GF pasta. I was very excited and placed my order of GF pasta special. The waitress specifically asked me, "Is this a preference or an allergy?" I specified that it is an allergy. Then our meals started to come out and everyone enjoyed it. I was blown away at how incredible my GF pasta special tasted and mentioned to everyone at the table how this is the greatest GF pasta dish I've had in such a long time. This should've been a red flag, but I thought nothing of it since they made sure to take note of my allergy. After we had finished our meals, we took some pictures and had a good time. Suddenly, I started to feel very uncomfortable and experienced stabbing abdominal pains. Since we were more than an hour away from home and still had other birthday plans the rest of the night, I really wish someone at the restaurant took just an extra moment to double check that my meal truly was safe for me to consume before serving it to me. It ruined the rest of my birthday. I understand mistakes happen, but allergies should absolutely not be ignored. It should be taken a lot more seriously, especially if the menu specified GF options. I shouldn't have had to experience something like this, especially on...

I would like to rate this place a solid 4.5, but of course Google doesn't allow that. Everything here is quite good, and if there were a star rating for value it would get 5+ stars. First off, I'd like to extend a hearty compliment to the staff. When we visited, the place was as busy as it could get. The waitstaff were obviously highly stressed, but at the table, nothing but composed and extremely helpful (thanks Sarah!) The atmosphere is interesting. Cozy might be a good description, but cramped would also work. That said, they do a hell of a job in a space that feels like it used to be an old-world hardware store. It can get quite loud and difficult to talk to your dining companions. The food did not disappoint. Though many people talked the menu up which may have unfairly inflated our expectations. For the price, I would say the place is straight-up gourmet. But compared to some of the local "classy" joints, the food came up a little short. Don't misconstrue that to mean in any way that any part of any course was sub-par or unappetizing. Simply bottom of the top-tier, which is still a very respectable place to be. The takeaway is that Gianni Fig's is a solid choice for a classy meal at an affordable price (boy does that sound like a...

Made reservations for 545. Arrived early at 5:30. Staff Argued that we had made a reservation for two people I had called 15 minutes prior. I made a reservation for four finally said oh right you’re right here sat us at a table for eight. Service was extremely slow, took us an hour and 20 minutes to receive our meal. We had no bread delivered when everyone around us did we did not complain initially, but when we noticed that the table that came in 15 minutes after us received their full meal and our waiter said oh the kitchen is behind. We realize that he probably never put our order in, our food was OK. It was good I’m not gonna complain about that we asked to speak with the manager we were told the manager was actually the cook, and could not be bothered to come out and see us because he was too busy cooking and serving other customers sorry not a good review from us and we really aren’t high maintenance people That was ridiculous. They didn’t comp us anything they charged us the full price on our entire menu which was for a table of four they should’ve tried to offer some thing they should’ve tried to talk to us. I don’t know people food was OK. It wasn’t amazing would not ever go again and would not recommend...

I must say, right from the start, we had a very pleasant experience. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was very nice. Great location for a date night. The cocktail I had was amazing, called the Smash and Grab 🥃👊 My wife enjoyed her glass of wine. The seafood chowder was delicious. Now, I've only had Seabass a few other times and I love my seafood, but this was absolutely amazing. My compliments to the chef. The seabass was perfectly prepared and the wine sauce really complimented the dish. My wife absolutely enjoyed her shrimp scampi; it's not your everyday, drowned in butter sauce scampi either. They make their own pasta and use nice sized shrimp for the dish and nicely seasoned as well with avocado. We were well fed and took our canoli home. I highly recommend this restaurant 👌 Yes, you could spend quite a bit here depending upon your bar tab, but overall this location is pretty reasonable ✌

We were visiting the area and stopped in to this local eatery. We did not have reservations and the establishment was fairly busy, however, they were able to seat our party of four immediately. Our server, Star, was very congenial and attentive. We took advantage of their special and were all pleased with our selections. The arancini and egg plant rolatini appetizers were delicious and plated nicely. The entrees came with a choice of soup or salad; both of which had several options. I had the veal chop burratta which was superb. Others in our group had the grill to table ribeye and the veal Florentine which they also enjoyed. Overall, our experience here was delightful and we will definitely return here when in the area again.

Our meals were excellent, my wife said the Lasagne was one of the best she has had, and she has had it numerous places in Italy! My Gorgonzola pasta with chicken was also excellent. Good selection of reasonably priced, good tasting wines as well. Can’t wait to go back!! Went back and had just as amazing of a dinner!! My wife got the lasagna again and loved it, and I have the Rissoto a la Milanese with mushrooms, bacon and seared Sea Scallops. It was excellent. We had the Gianni Fig appetizer which was fresh figs, prosciutto and bursts cheese drizzled with EVOO. Amazing…
