What an Awkward Disappointing Experience !!!!! My Wife and I decided to give Leoâs Table a try for a First (and last) time today . It was super awkward as we walked in it was unclear wether we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We figured out it was âseat yourself â After you went to the counter to place your order from a menu that was in a holder nearby . As we looked at the menu we felt somewhat uneasy as there were people in line behind us and it seemed to bottleneck at this one point . After looking at the menu for a minute and being rather letdown by the Very Limited Choices , we decided on sandwiches ... (I was going to order pancakes until I saw the price and offering 10-11$ for two tiny pancakes. I ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich and my Wife Ordered the BLT . The Pricing on the menu had us Nervous 11$ for a Roast Beef and 9$ for a BLT. But we went ahead and placed our order . I noticed a rather large Deep Fryer and some Beautiful Large Equipment such as Gas Ranges and Large Vent Hoods ... ( seemed overkill for the Menu Options ). We received our Ticket to place on our table so they knew where to deliver our food . I found the area to get our own napkins and utensils as they were not at the table already , it seems it is a âSet Your Own and Buss Your Own Establishmentâ Our Iced Tea That we both ordered came out first and was delivered by a young Waitress / Kitchen Help That was wearing short shorts that DID NOT EVEN COVER HER BOTTOM OR FRONT . It was certainly questionable as to wether this was even up to Health Code Standards . The Food came out shortly after and it was AWFUL !! The Bread was DRY ... there were two tiny pieces of Roast Beef that was BARELY Chewable as it was Stringy and Unrecognized as to what cut it came from . Neither Sandwiches came with a Cheese Option . The BLT had No Lettuce outside of three tiny pieces of some âfresh greensâ the bacon and tomato were ok . Both of these Sandwiches @20$ ..! Were served with 3 pieces of pickled Zucchini and a Small handful of homemade potato Chips . I had asked if they served French Fries after seeing the Deep Fryer and was told No they didnât . Just homemade chips . I am Never bothered by paying for a Meal as long as there is some Relative Value And Substance To It . However this 26$ Outing LEFT SO VERY MUCH TO BE DESIRED . The Atmosphere and Menu seemed rather âOut Of Place For South Deerfieldâ I have to give it 1 Star to Post This Review !! That is...
Read moreMy wife and I and our 2 young daughters came up from CT today to go to Magic Wings and Yankee Candle. We normally stop at Sugarloaf Frostee for food and ice cream. We drove by and it was closed today, so we tried two other places in the area - both packed with people out the door due to a graduation in the area. Frustrated, we turned down a street unsure of what to do and saw Leo's Table with an open sign so we said well lets check it out.
I have to say, the unexpected visit to Leo's Table was our best part of an amazing day. We came in a little after 1. Looking around, the atmosphere, music and decor was comforting and relaxing, the young man who greeted us and gave us our menus was very polite and friendly. We sat down and looked over the menu and decided on a brunch burger and fries, 2 grilled cheeses for our 4 and 2 year old with them splitting a fry, and chocolate pancakes for my wife. We went up and ordered from a very friendly and pleasant young woman who made us feel very comfortable and at home in the establishment. When our food was ready, it all looked and smelled amazing and tasted even better! The same young woman ( i think her name was Jess?) was extra attentive and helpful in making sure we had everything we could have wanted. Upon asking her about the fruity pebbles donuts she highly recommended them and we purchased one for when we got home. Somehow, the donut was even better than the rest of the amazing food!!!
All and all, we are sad that we live an hour away or we would make this our new usual spot for going out to eat. The staff was so amazing, the food ridiculously good(your fries are to die for!) and the environment awesome. After such a disappointing few attempts at eating at other places we found the gem of the area by accident and we can not wait to come back. I can not say enough for the staff you had on duty as they really make your restaurant stand out. We will definitely see you next time we...
Read moreI have driven by this place at least a couple hundred times and have never stopped until just the other day. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but when I do go out for breakfast I like to find a good homemade hash. There are a few restaurants around this area that actually used to be pretty good but now I don't go anywhere for breakfast because I can't find good hash anywhere. Until now! đđ Leo's stable is a quiet little place right on the corner of the main Street in South Deerfield. The staff is polite and courteous and the food all looks fantastic. The first time I went there I had the hash bowl and that comes with the whole slew of stuff all piled on a bunch of tater tots with some kind of sriracha sauce on top. To be honest with you, I can eat quite a bit and I couldn't finish the meal. The second time I went I got hash and eggs over easy with toast and you guessed it, tater tots! Now they also have a lunch menu but I didn't even look at that I was there strictly for breakfast. Maybe after I have lunch there one day I'll update my review. So anyway go check it out, I will be going there at least once a week from now on, I'm glad I found the little place. Enjoy... Oh I almost forgot, on my way out the door I bought a homemade m&m oat bar. It had chocolate in the middle of it and I ate it as I drove away from the place crumbs falling down into my beard I didn't care it was...
