La Guerrerense Taqueria — Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs

This was a very great experience 😋. I love Mexican spots 🇲🇽 🌮🌯🍛♨️🥩❤️‍🔥🍗🛖 🏕️🏬 and I adore the environment. Very nice people and atmosphere at La Guerrense Taqueria. I told my girlfriend, about this restaurant as well . Her name Nesha ( sexyhazel25 💛 on Snapchat . “ I’m very hungry nesha so I stopped at this very nice Mexican spot , it’s a local restaurant plus and market, I got number 18 on the menu , the choripollo 😋” is what I said to Nesha. I enjoyed the food and I’m Haitian. One critique I can say is the salt 🧂, I wish they could add a little more salt on the rice , beans , and a bit more seasoning on the chicken. I loved menu 18 and how the chicken came it . I was very tender and a juicy bite. The chicken from the choripollo is amazing . The choripollo is only 13 bucks and some change , which has Mexican Sausage & Chicken, topped with Mozzarella Cheese Served with rice & beans. And I get me a bev ( bev is short for beverages in uptown in states like New York ) . The bev I got is a drink called horchata 🧊 🥛 and it’s very amazing . My horchata ( wish it was a little sweeter 😩 🇲🇽) had ice and it’s a nice combo especially if u got your good spicy 🥵 🌶️ , the horchata will come to save the day , especially with your tongue 🥤 💦 👅 . We stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. It was a bit out of the way but well worth the drive. The restaurant is sort of a diner built into an Hispanic grocery. It is not fine dining (or anything close) but it was a great experience. There was a also bit of a language barrier but service was attentive and we got through it. Our food was wonderful and very authentic. I had a dish served in molcajete which was creative and delicious. My wife enjoyed her meal very much as well. Authenticity rang through and earned all five stars I gave! The food was delicious, and I was quite impressed by the plating. It was thoughtfully done and tastefully made. If you want really good Mexican food, this is your spot. You might not think from the outside that what you would find inside would be outstanding, but you would be incorrect. The food is excellent, the space was clean, and the price was reasonable. I just hope it doesn't get ruined by people that go in and expecting American style Mexican food.
