H & M Hot Dogs — Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs

Went on a run, and stopped by there with my dog a week ago for a hotdog. Knocked on the window to order understanding that pets shouldn't be inside an establishment for food safety reasons. She first looked at me like i was stupid, i pointed down to my dog, mouthing "hey, i have a dog." she gestured to me to come in.

when i came in, she, in a nasty tone, told me "no dogs allowed." to which i replied, "okay, i'll order from the window"

Then she then said, "we don't do that, you're gonna need to order outside with the door open." Like i was a second class citizen. I looked at her and said, i'm not doing that. you have a good one.

just an overall nasty attitude from the woman, who i believe to be the owner. it's unfortunate because i used to go there quite a bit when i was younger with my then puppy and young daughter to sit outside and eat. I'd order from the window with no problem and have my food ready. Everyone was always so nice.

it was a great day that was dampened by my negative interaction from whomever was in charge.

Based on the other negative reviews, i highly suspect the owner to come on here and blame me for whatever happened....

I ordered a Patty Melt that was $5.59 on the menu and was charged $9.18 after tax. I asked why and they said "Well, that's what our computer says and there is a $1 surcharge on the meat." I went to my car and thought it was still wrong so I went back inside and said "Wait a minute. The menu says $5.59 and a $1 surcharge makes it $6.59." Then he said "That menu is wrong. It should be $8.59!" Needless to say I will never go there again! I got two pieces of Wonder bread, one patty, a tablespoon of grilled onion, two pieces of cheese, and some mayonnaise! I went there to support local businesses, but, if they are going to be that way to me next time I'll go to Burger King and get two Whoppers for $6 plus tax! God...

I ordered a hotdog and a guy comes in 6 minutes later and orders hotdogs. He gets his hotdog and walks out and I am left still waiting. I'm waiting a total of 10 minutes for a hotdog. So I asked how long would it take to make my hotdog and the lady at the register turns around and grabs it after it had been siting and is now cold. I was boiling inside and very very uncomfortable. I then get my meal and leave, only to get to my desk and see my meal wasn't right. Poor customer service and no gestures when I walked in. On top of feeling discriminated against. I will never eat here again due to the service and how unwelcoming I felt. I have ate here several times and have always felt an...
