I placed an online order this evening for our family and when it was delivered we were missing our cheese sticks. When I called the establishment to ask them to bring the rest of my order that I bought and paid for I was immediately put on hold for nearly ten minutes before I finally called them from my daughters phone and got an answer! I explained to the lady that answered what happened and she suggested that my cheese sticks may still be in the warmer and put me back on hold. I live five minutes away and headed that way to get things straightened out, assuming they may be busy and not able to get back to the phone. I was still on hold when I pulled in to the empty parking lot! I walked in and immediately caught site of the empty building and told the only girl I saw that I was still on hold and showed her my phone and demanded to know why they're parking calls on hold instead of remedying customers needs and she went and got her manager immediately, who walked out of the back HOLDING A PHONE!! My phone call was literally still on hold as I stood there in an empty restaurant demanding my cheese sticks that I already bought and paid for with delivery charge! Her only offer to remedy the situation was to make me come back there to get my food that I already paid for and to have delivered, wait for the food to cook with no refund of my delivery fee or to comp the food that I literally had to come pick up myself....with no explanation as to why they STILL HAD MY CALL ON HOLD RIGHT IN THE MANAGERS FACE!!! Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with ANY local food establishment and my family and I will not be back until they clean the trashy employees they've got...
Read more•Update: We come here all of the time and have always received great service, but last night, 11/6, we did not. We walked in at 9:50 PM. Keep in mind, they do not close until 11:00 PM. There were workers standing up by the counter and no one greeted us or anything. It was like they were bothered that we were there. This one girl eventually said, “Pick up or dining in?” And we said, “Dining in” and she just looked really mad, so I followed up with saying, “If that’s okay?” and she said, “We don’t close till 11.” Right, exactly, so like....what’s the attitude for? We just kept our order real simple and could not wait to get out of there! She ended up trying to be nice at the end, but she had already killed our vibe from the get go. I was already having a bad night too and just wanted some comfort food, and she seriously made it no better. I was once a server. You don’t make people feel that way. The way you speak, the faces you make, and the body language is everything. •I have not been to a Pizza Hut in years! I have been missing out! Our past two experiences (both from this week) have been amazing! Not only are the employees nice and attentive, but the pizza is off the chain! And we can talk about those mozzarella sticks?! Read moreBuyer Beware! I was visiting DeFuniak Springs over the weekend and decided to order Pizza for dinner for my family. So I signed into my Pizza Hut account and ordered. The pizza came. It was delicious. However, I paid with my credit card on the website, but I tipped the driver cash. After arriving home from the trip, I went online to my bank to check my purchases for the trip and realized that they had changed the amount on the reciept and charged an extra $8.00 on my bill. I logged onto my account for Pizza Hut and confirmed this, so I called the store to complain and they told me that I had tipped them the $8.00. I dont add tips into my credit card purchases. So I complained to the management and they had a different amount for the total. They told me they would investigate and they did and called me back the following day to let me know that it was their delivery driver. I am not covinced because he would have no way of printing out a whole new slip with a different total. So use caution when dealing with this...
