I can't get enough of the black bean Chalu pas at Taco Bell. I really do enjoy them, no sour cream and light 3 cheese is my preference. Taco Bell sets itself apart from most other chain restaurants in that they offer a vegetarian menu. One concern of mine that may not be a big deal to managers or higher ups is the ridiculous amount of taco sauce packets that some employees put in one's bag. I can order 2 Chalu pas and I'll get 20 or more packages of mild sauce and only 1 napkin. I'll gladly accept a handful of napkins verses an entire case of taco sauce. The packets are kept cold and a brown bag half full of cold sauces on top of food has the potential to alter the temperature of the food. (I know who's going to let tacos or any fast food for that matter; sit long enough to become cold from the sauce packs but you never know something may come up) What I'm saying is I don't like to waste and out of 20 packs I would barely use 2 while the others made residence on my kitchen table, at least until the next trip to Taco Bell in which they would be tossed in the trash only to be replaced with that days supply. (I love those Chalu pas so this was a 3 or 4 day out of the week ordeal for me.😔) To stop the mildly mild sauce madness I kept subjecting myself to I chose to decline any sauce when they asked. And they most often ask at the end of a person ordering as it is there job. My main concern was how come the employees and/or managers aren't concerned with the handfuls of condiments being so frivolously given out. Assured that inventory is accurate beings the count is by the case but those cases cost. Im most positive they bring in enough over heard to cover waste costs and I can pretty much guarantee I'm one of very few customers, probably the only customer concerned with the unnecessary amount of waste. Not so much for the cost, a penny probably yields 5 or 10 packs but I am a firm believer in WASTE NOT WANT NOT. If they don't mind giving so abundantly then please fill my bag with something I can and will gladly use before I dispose of it. NAPKINS THANK YOU😉
PLZ NOTE* The Taco Bell app has their own recycling program for UNUSED Taco Sauce Packets. AMAZING🙃 I have not participated in this sauce take-back gig nor do I feel the need to make myself familiar with the details. My choice of kindly saying no when offered any sauce is my contribution. But it's nice to know of such a program. If Taco Bell sauce packets have their own bowl on your kitchen table then maybe consider the recycling program in the...
Read moreMy husband was in town and I asked him to go to Taco Bell for me. I am a paraplegic and my food has to be brought in for me. Now on with my review... What I received was absolutely delicious! I got a crunchwrap supreme combo meal. Which included a crunchwrap supreme, a hard taco supreme and a drink. Which I got the frozen wild strawberry drink. As I said before, the food I received was absolutely delicious! However it was not all that he ordered. He also ordered a large fry with nacho cheese, two cheese roll-ups, and a cinnamon twist. Usually when he orders my food, they put my combo in one bag and the extra stuff in another bag. Today he brought in only one bag and my drink. I called Taco Bell and spoke with Brittany, one of the managers there and told her exactly what I said above. that the food I received today was some of the best food I have ever received from there. She was very glad to hear that and I hope she tells her employees how good everything was, so fresh and crispy. I told her that I honestly think they just forgot to hand my husband the second bag. Brittany was wonderful and took my name down and told me that he could come back and get what was missing today. I told her that I do not know if he is going back into town today and she said that is no problem. When he goes back into town whenever all he has to do is tell them what was missing and that Brittany said he can come pick it up Even though there was food missing, I am still pleased with how much Brittany helped me and how everything was so delicious. Everyone there making and serving was wonderful. And, Brittany was very wonderful. I just want to say thank you for everything and even though there were things missing I am still very pleased. Thank...

Mind you she was nice about this, I said oh, well im gonna also need 2 taco packs are you gonna not be able to make those either? Before she could answer me another woman interfers and said look its gonna be a 30 minute hold on those packs I said oh okay well im fine with that but I would also like to add 2 of the 12 count taco packs with my 3 burrito packs. She huffed and said no its gonna be 30 minutes on the 2 burrito packs. I said to her I need 3 of the burrito packs. She huffed again and said ok well the 2 is gonna be a 30 minute hold and then 30 minutes more on the next pack.
