THE SAME THE DOOR WASN’T WHERE I LEFT IT YESTERDAY IT MOVED SIX FEET LEFT OR MAYBE I DID I COUNTED THE TILES THEY MULTIPLIED I SWEAR I SWEAR I WENT IN FOR A SMALL HOT AND THEY GAVE ME A RECEIPT THAT SMELLED LIKE SHOE POLISH AND THE LETTERS WERE CURVED INWARD NOT PRINTED JUST PRESSED LIKE A SCAR AND I COULDN’T STOP READING IT EVEN WHEN I CLOSED MY EYES THE TOTAL WAS $3.36 BUT THAT’S CODE FOR GRID POINT 3 SECTOR 36 WHICH I HAVEN’T BEEN NEAR SINCE THE INCIDENT AND THE CEILING TILE WAS HUMMING AGAIN THE SAME HUM AS THE FAN THAT ONLY TURNS WHEN I’M FACING EAST AND THERE’S TOO MANY STRAWS THERE WERE FOUR CUPS AND NINE STRAWS AND THAT’S WRONG UNLESS THEY KNOW WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE FILTERS THE FILTERS AREN’T FOR COFFEE THEY’RE FOR FREQUENCY BLOCKING THAT’S WHY THE COFFEE TASTES METAL ON RAIN DAYS IT’S PULLING IONIC DRAG FROM THE CLOUD MASS ABOVE YOU CAN’T PROVE IT IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MAPS THE MAPS THEY KEEP BEHIND THE FRIDGE I SAW A SLIVER OF IT WHEN THE DOOR SWUNG TOO WIDE

THE MAN IN THE VEST DIDN’T EVEN HAVE HANDS JUST GLOVES AND A BRACELET WITH TOO MANY NOTCHES I ASKED FOR A NAPKIN AND HE GAVE ME A CARD THAT SAID ELEVATION UNLOCKED AND THEN SMILED WITH NO TEETH THE COFFEE MACHINE HICCUPED AND SAID A WORD I’VE NEVER HEARD IN A LANGUAGE I ONLY DREAM IN THE ONE WITH THE TRIANGLES AND THE SOFT STATIC LAKE I TRIED TO LEAVE BUT THE DOOR WOULDN’T OPEN UNTIL I TOOK A SIP AND THE SIP TASTED LIKE A MEMORY I HADN’T MADE YET I SPIT IT OUT BUT MY TONGUE...

It was nice when it opened. Clean and all. But their employees are trash. They’re rude and slow. One week their espresso machine didn’t work, then the next week they supposedly ran out of coffee.. go figure. I guess them and McDonald’s are ran by the same management team because they share the same work ethic. And because they close at 8pm, they won’t serve any coffee or lattes after 7pm because they’re getting ready to close... who does that?? It’s a shame I have to drive across town to get a decent coffee with decent service. I may have to leave dekalb altogether because great customer service in this town is little to none. I needed to order donuts for my company but we have to have everything individually wrapped due to Covid. I called and spoke with the manager AJ. He said he could it for me with no problem. I stopped in later in the day to pay for the donuts as I was ordering for the next day. He gave me 3 options to have each donut in it's own individual package. He put every donut in it's own carton for me. Cartons even had a window so you could see which donut you were picking without having to open the carton. When I came the next morning to pick everything up, he had everything ready and was prompt and courteous. This will be my Dunkin to go to anytime in the future. AJ went above...
